Lewis was a great shot stopper, but never had much confidence in him defending corners.

Walker has been quite commanding and calm from set pieces so far for us

 

Superb defensive performance. Played better with KMc in CM and Gilly LWB. Credit to Cook after the shocking pen.

Disappointed by Kavanagh, looked poor. Need to swap him for the other man bun....Fletcher.

 

Well done Cooky. Atoned for the poor penalty. Showed good strength there and reacted well to finish after the save.

Don't encourage him, I bet he couldn't wait for the final whistle to have a go at Cook for the penalty miss, then Cookie winning the game for us with a bit of determination must have really p1ssed him off.
Good business by the club getting Lewis on a free and selling him on for a fee, have we conceded a gaol since Walker came that can be put down to his miss take, I cant remember one.

 

He'll be gutted when they're relegated and we win the play offs.

One over our ex manager, we shut up the Disney lot, Cook got a goal after a penalty miss to arguably restore his confidence more than scoring the penalty would have and we got 3 points on the road

 

Away end. .. bedlam.

Not the greatest attraction on the eye but take the points. KMc excelled when he came allowing us to get further up the pitch and squeeze the space that Wrexham had in the early part of the game.
Penalty looked a tame effort but Cookie made up for the miss with a good reactional finish.

Platt, Walker and KMc stood out and very impressed with 29 Bennett for them. Felt Wrexham were bang average in all fairness.

We play much better with a front two.

It should be Young and Cook up front with one of Pointon or Kavanagh behind them (Walker, Wright or Pattison but they're jnjured)

That would be our best attacking option I think.

The front three doesn't really work. We can't keep the ball up the pitch.

 

I think Parky got his subs all wrong. Bennett and Mullin were causing us trouble and he subbed them off for two players who did nothing
