So what's the answer...

For all Rupps faults including being an absent , uninterested owner whom doesnt want to put any money into the club, can we say with any certainty that our playing budget isnt better or equal to that of the current top 7?
For me the blame lies firmly at the door of the CEO for his managerial appointments and the managers themselves for squandering the budget we have on many players who quite frankly aren’t even National League quality.

 

I get your point and don't disagree, but it was Rupp that appointed the person who was running the club's twitter account to CEO so the buck stops with him.

 

Then if anything we should be calling for Rupp to sack Sparks whilst publicly assuring us that he will commit to providing a playing budget which matches that of a top 7 league 2 club with aspirations of promotion.
If he can’t do that before season tickets go on sale then it’ll be a disaster as far as sales go.

 

Agree, he could just walk away or sit on what he has . He walks away then it’s a trust run by a committee with no financial support and no assets to get loans. That won’t last long and we will do a Bury along with the plummet to the lower divisions of non league football.

He’s made it known he will sell as long as the price is right, if it’s not then it’s the status quo..slow and gradual decline without success on the grass.

That’s the black and white dilemma we face.

While we are balancing the books he's got us by the balls. He clearly has no interest in us but wants top dollar for a failing business.

 

That’s all conjecture though it doesn’t make it right he arranged a financial deal with one party and I bet it wasnt 10 million.

 

Exactly this, as it stands for him we are a free lottery ticket, we tick along funding ourselves and if by any chance we get lucky along the way with a pay day then he's quids in.
