I've never lost faith in a manager as quickly as I have for GA.

The only defence I can offer for him is the inheritance of such a shocking squad overall.

However, the football he is serving up is soul destroying.

I truly cannot see where the next win is coming from in the league.

His persistent reluctance in starting with flair players such as Pointon and Chapman is baffling. The only positive result we have had this month came in the EFL Trophy, if my memory serves me right, both these started.

How as he not abandoned the negative awful 3-5-2 formation to start games. We simply don't have the players to make a success of this formation.

The number of times we concede the first goal in the first 15 minutes or so is shocking and down to the tactics in my opinion.

I am afraid I don't trust him with the summer rebuild, but then I don't trust Sparks with any more appointments.

What a depressing mess we find ourselves in.

This in a nutshell. It is so depressing. Even if Rupp, Sparks, Gent and GA resigned today, it would not help us. Right at this moment we need a manager who can motivate the players we have and produce a match day squad. We really are at an all time low.

 

And already injured for a “couple” of weeks with a “nick” after a scan (hamstring?). You couldn’t make it up.

 

Just remember that under Phil Parkinson we finished 18th in his first season with another managers players!!!!

 

There has to be a massive turn around for us to show any sort of form that may give us an outside chance of the top seven, I don't think time is on the clubs side with regards delaying the season ticket campaign.

 

Employees need to feel valued, especially the manager. They all look happy initially but soon look bloody miserable when they don't feel loved! Even Hughes couldn't be bothered to move from his seat at the end. Apathy.

 

Remember that squad on the whole was piss poor this team with the right tactics and set up should be doing a lot more.

So you think that next season there will be a vast improvement ?????

 

That’s the big question.
How will next season’s recruitment be any better than most of the dross we’ve signed in the last few seasons?

 

When the players go on the field, no matter what their told, if they can’t/wont do it, can't play with pride, effort and a little skill, why are we blaming others?

 

You can't compare GA with Phil Parkinson. Parky could motivate his players to run through walls even if they weren't very good. That interview with GA after the game yesterday was dreadful, he didn't seem to have a clue how to get the best out of this team.

 

Only logical solution to our short term problems is change the formation

GA has this mentality where we need to get the best out of our defensive players, well guess what, it aint working. Theyre all dogshit
