Open Letter to Ryan Sparks

You’ll just get the generic response that all officials who aren’t up to the job give.
I started this job to get us promoted.
I think I’m the best person for the job and still think we are capable of that aim.
The owner has put faith in me to achieve promotion and that is still my aim.
Nobody ever said it would be easy but we need everybody pulling in the same direction.
I’m a fan as well and this hurts me just as much as it does you.

Etc.etc.etc.


That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t send it.

I’m tempted to send it tonight.

 

There would at least be hope that things would gradually improve under a new owner and CEO that actually had a clue.

Rupp and Sparks give us no hope. No hope whatsoever. Clueless, rudderless, just drifting along.

 

Just a thought, not sure what if any Rupp uses. Peer pressure - other business folk or his racing colleagues may nudge him.

Every fan has their take on what's happening at Valley Parade but I'm not having it's fans who got Mark Hughes the sack, Mark Hughes got sacked because after taking us so near (and yes I do blame him for that late substitution of Platt for Banks costing us at least a chance of taking it to penalties by encouraging Carlisle on as one of our only attacking options was taken off) exactly the same substitution he made at home to Gillingham were we lost two points because we basically invited Gillingham on.
Then going down a completely different route this season asking players to play a system most fans could see from our opening games players were not happy with what they were being asked to do, losing an early goal against Colchester because none of our defender were capable of playing it from the back and Harry Lewis getting caught ball watching Harry openly stating they weren't happy with it once Hughes had left.
I was fully behind every managerial appointment Ryan made after giving Stuart an extension then sacking him days later, on paper Adams looked the ideal appointment, were the fans to blame for Adams departure not his results or entertainment on show on the field'
Alexander has been successful at this level and after the Notts County debacle got us not merely picking up points but looking like we could score goals which we did in that little run I believe getting 3/4 clean sheets, we lose Jamie Walker and everything goes tits up now I accept Walker looks above league two level but to go on such a shocking run because at times it has been shocking can't be put down to one player.
Your entitled to your opinion that's what the forums here for but don't blame the fans who even given your comments with regards our performances since relegation have once again back our club financially.

I posted the other day maybe getting the German press involved, you may not remember but the German press were very quick to post about two of their fellow Germans being owners of an English Football Club and their vision going forward.
They even got a video crew over to cover fans response etc of course there were plenty at the time singing their praises which was understandable at the time we couldn't wait for them to take us to the next level.

 

If I did buy the club, the first thing I would do is sack him and appoint someone who knows what they're doing, so that would backfire.
