Open Letter to Ryan Sparks

The club plummeted from the Premier league to the bottom division with barely a fight. Along the way the club was mismanaged under the disguise of being sustainable.

We looked very much like we were going to end up in nonleague until Parkinson came in and grabbed all areas of the club by the collar. Against all odds he reversed the decline.

Now we find ourselves back to where we were under Jackson, Christie, JR and Lawn.

Our fans have not been toxic enough.

 

Not even slightly. In fact, if there is any 'blame' to be laid at the door of supporters, its for being too passive and trusting, to the point where obviously incapable people are allowed to take on roles at the club, and for being too tolerant of failure and mediocrity.

The supporters of this club turn up in huge numbers home and away, and tolerate more sh*te than most.

It's the last place anyone should look for assigning blame.

 

Nice try Ryan or one of your puppets. Your time is up. We the fans have had enough. Your days are numbered.

 

Once the owner has finally left the building the clouds will lift. Primarily because it will mean we at last have an owner who actually gives a shit.

 

You'd have got less pelters if this hadn't been your first ever post.

 

See, it's that knee jerk sort of reply that kinda nullifies any argument you might have. Nobody expects us to be top of league immediately. But when our CEO talks of 'not accepting mediocrity' but then serves us up a big shit sandwich time and again there comes a breaking point.
18th in league 2. Just let that sink in.

Ok,, it all starts at the top. If you have an owner that doesn’t care then it goes right down to the bottom. If you have a CEO that cares about himself and not the club then the club will completely fail.

Signing players that are not good enough and renewing contracts for those that are not good enough. A CEO at a football club that doesn’t know what he is doing is means that no matter what a club does it will never get to the heights required.

Fans have a right to question footballers or style of play. They’re paying money to watch. When Smallwood is on free kicks and making a mess of them of course fans have a right to moan

Unfortunately, for this club it’s only the fans that care about the club. It’s a mess!

What's the plan with this? Is it just for this forum? Am I ok to use the majority of the wording to use as an email to the club?

What if everybody who felt the same did that and email the club, T&A, Yorkshire Post, BBC Radio L**ds on a set day? Anybody have Rupp's email? Those German newspapers that somebody mentioned the other day?
What if people that are on Facebook / Twitter etc. post it on the respective socials, again on a preset day or time?

Perhaps a concerted communication event could be discussed on Monday?

Might not have the desired effect immediately but may raise some proper questions with the press? Just thinking out loud!!

 

If we send it to the club I would piss myself if the reply was -

“Buy the club then smart arse if you think you can run it any better”

 

LOL. I bet that's what Sparks actually thinks though!!

 

It’s quoted by plenty of fans,so some people actually think it’s a reasonable response to any criticism of the club.

They are allowed to decide who runs the country.
