Did Vaughan go on to do well elsewhere? Doyle was more due to style. Reeves was superb for a while here. Watt was also superb but criminally undervalued by fans. Young had issues with Hughes. We saw something in him, which his previous club didn't hence the long contract

Agree to a certain point. However likely Young leaves and Derbyshire I sadly don’t consider an option - so that leaves us with two, with Smith not quite hitting the levels we hope.

So with Walker and Pattison out, we look light up top IMO

Agree….But the exit of Young and/or Derbyshire have to occur before we look for another striker (or two). Four is plenty.

Yes Vaughan massively helped Tranmere regain their league status.
Agree Doyle was not used correctly.
Reeves was ok / average but once injured he was never the same and then went on to be very good at Wimbledon.
Same with Watt, was average until Hughes came who seemed to get him going again but by then he’d probably already decided to leave in the summer.
And finally Young who again was played out of position and never given a chance once Wright came on loan.

My point in all this is that we’ve always had very good players at this club but for whatever reason never the correct management team or playing style to get the best out of them.

There is absolutely no evidence that says putting up prices would 100% mean less sales. In fact prices went up this season and sold 2000 more ST’s.
And your second point is complete nonsense as I’ve never said that

I'm afraid I'm going to have to pull you up on this one. Vaughan joined Tranmere in 2020 when they were in League One and helped them achieve relegation to League Two !! He played no part in them regaining their FL status.

I'd think logic would suggest if prices were put up to the levels your suggesting attendances would go down.

You quoted about us having 30.000 + down at Wembley taking friends and relations.

Whilst I accept I’m wrong, you are also incorrect.
Vaughan joined Tranmere on loan in the 20/21 season and helped them secure a play off place.
They didn’t go up but he joined them permanently the following season where they again finished above us in the league 2 table.
    He then retired.

edit. I’m wrong. He did in fact join them on loan in league 1 and they were relegated

Vaughan joined them in January 2020 and they were relegated to league two in April. He retired in the 20/21 season.

Might drop a bit but not on the scale some might think.
And I have no idea what you’re talking about with the Wembley quote.

    Int Wikipedia ace !!

Vaughan joined League One club Tranmere Rovers on 29 January 2020 on loan for the remainder of the season.[49]

The deal was made permanent in August 2020,[50] after parent club Bradford City agreed a mutual decision to terminate the remainder of Vaughan's contract.[51]

On 27 May 2021, Vaughan announced his retirement from professional football.[

So its might drop a bit if they put prices up you have quoted it would be more than a bit.
You have made comments in the past with regards 30,000+ people attending games at Wembley supporting Bradford City and not being real fans I replied did it matter.

I used to like his "no look" 40 yard hook to absolutely no one.

It seems Smallwood was watching him and seems to have adopted that part of his passing range.
