Those are my worries too but it's only a loan to the end of the season so we've really not much to lose.

 

Try and be a little more positive, I'm sure Wright knows exactly what is expected of him and maybe believes in himself, why does it always have be a conspiracy theory.
We may have a clause in the loan that if we like what we see and Wright has a good half season we pay Plymouth a fee already agreed, that seems logical ?.
Who's to say once this window is over Alexander will persevere with this system.
What he did at Plymouth is history the same as what he did at Valley Parade is history but you can only base your judgment on what we saw him do last season for us, if he does return and shows that sort of form he showed in the latter if that 6 months I for one will be glad we signed him and I don't think I'll be alone.

 

Once again, I reiterate. He’s a good player. But if the best our so called head of recruitment and scouting team can do, is bring back a player based on previous performances, not suitability, then we’re more fecked than I thought.

Not sure it didn't work out, Plymouth saw how he had performed for us and put a bid into Villa we couldn't match it and the lad went to a League One club who looked favourites to go up which they did, unfortunately he couldn't repeat that sort of form at Plymouth and I believe he also had injury problems, where have we heard that before ?.

 

We have a clause to buy him if we fancy him at the end of his loan ?.

 

Wright Signed to play up front with Cook to add more pace. Oliver will go back south as he struggled to settle up north is my guess

 

I thought Oliver's family are based in Sheffield, which is partly why he moved here in the first place?

 

Well, he was certainly very good when he was here so let's hope he recovers that form. And we also don't know what GA's playing intentions or involvement in the transfer are. But, he hasn't played much since he left and only really had any success when he was with us. It's also eerily similar to the return of Gilliead.
None of us know how it will work out though so let's hang fire until we do.

 

I’m not saying this is good or bad signing but Wright can fit into the last 2 formations we have played. Last 2 games 343, previous 352.
So he can play in the 3 or off Cook in a 2

 

I can see this going two ways. Wright is either used to rotate with Smith, alongside Cook. Or he's deployed on the wing in a 3-4-3 formation. But in order to get the best out of him, we need to stop with this shit of lobbing the ball into the corners. It never works

 

At last!! I was waiting for someone to remember that in his last couple of matches he was part of a three up front, just playing behind the striker.

Alexander clearly realises that his two up front policy will not bear fruit because Smith isn't good enough and Young won't play. Thank goodness he realises that there's more than one way to solve this conundrum.

Actually from Jan to mid March we had our best points per games spell. Clayton getting crocked and our stupid fans at Crewe, were far more of a reason than the loss of Wright for our failure.

Great to have him back though.

 

Puzzled what Richards has anything to do with this. If GA plays Wright at LWB, when we've got more pressing problem, he needs sacking immediately
