Swindon are selling their right full back Romeo Hutton to Stockport for a rumoured £200k..... yes, a full back for the same rumoured fee for the leagues second top scorer.

 

Yet Hutton has 6 months left on his contract and Young has 18 months, plus an option to extend another year. You couldn't write it could you.

 

Rumoured. The club are holding out for better deals from whatever starting point and there is loads of noise on social media to get the deal done. They can’t win. The clubs rumoured to be interested in Young are not exactly minted lower the lower reaches of division one doesn’t tend to produce large transfer fees

I said before Nixon is a machine gun click bait artist . Suggest a thousand things and one may turn out to be correct at some stage.

If that figure IS true and no more offers come in , our friend Mr Young and his agent have well and truly shot themselves in the gonads. In my honest opinion of course. Remembering they both get a cut of any deal. Why doesn’t he have faith in his own ability by ASKING for a transfer .. I wonder? Clearly an option open to him.
