I thought we really missed McDonald today. Smallwood and Gilliead in central midfield and yet again a dreadful performance from the team. When will the penny drop. Surely one day we'll get a manager who can see the obvious.

 

It's weird, just smacked of the team being not bothered. Didn't look like what I'd expect from a team.

 

Any half decent team would have overcome that mistake comfortably.We had more than enough time to sort that out but yet again we failed.

 

Certainly has come to that, actually did a long time ago. I posted after the Crawley game I can only laugh at those moments now as any other emotion isn’t worth it. Similarly today, normally I’d be frustrated as hell but I just don't really feel anything other than “meh”. When the only small bit of excitement I feel comes from a trophy that barely harbours attendances that are 5-10% of clubs grounds capacity, and we’re contesting Premier Leagues youth teams, it’s really low.

I of course hope for a switch in fortunes, or at the very least even some signs there is hope ahead of us, but right now there isn’t any of that.

I want Jake Young to leave. I’m sure his head is clear that he wants to move on. I’d rather club and player get on with it and give us as fans a hope that the money is invested in something we can be excited by. Am I confident any of this will happen? Am I chuff…..

 

You don't like being critical of players and single them out but its not as if it was a well worked move.

Time to stop blaming hughes, recruitment has been a joke for a long time

 

Sad thing is guys even if season ticket sales drop and the fans finally make a stand - who does it really hurt? Rupp has loads of dosh, CEO manager coaches scouts and players turn up elsewhere....yes its the fans.
And thats the reality of the shitshow at our club

 

Maybe there is no outcry because folk simply dont care ............Oliver is a waste of fooking time but sadly due to our amazing recruitment team we have another 18 months of him.

 

What a depressing club. For me personally I think some time away from following City is long overdue.

 

The really sad thing is that there would need to be a massive improvement in every aspect of the club just to get to mediocrity.

 

I agree Gaz, the team is avoid of ideas, most of them had a poor second half.

Yet you find time to post on here and comment on the game and the club, unfortunately its not something I/you/we can ignore when Bradford City are playing, that's not a pop at you mate but if it was so easy I wouldn't even be watching it on Ifollow or a dodgy fire stick, its in ya blood and even if you weren't following the game when you got your phone out at 5pm the first thing you'd look for id Bradford City's result .

 

I suppose the only possible logic is that neither have played much football recently until Tuesday. Since both played 83 minutes on Tuesday maybe he thought that a full 90 minutes was too much today, if neither is fully match fit yet.

That was poor stuff from either side, the Colchester commentator called it correct when he said it was like primary school football.
The way I feel at the moment, the club can sell whoever they want.
