You do realise that the cowardly terrorists (whom brutally raped, tortured, beheaded many women and children) are hiding amongst the general public, instead of fighting their aggressors.

Nobody wants civilian deaths but unfortunately it has to be expected in a war, especially when the cowards are hiding amongst the public. It's basically Hamas who are to blame for the deaths.

 

It's incredible that the figure is only 22000 that have died with the inhumane incessant bombing of Gaza. As I stated earlier in this thread, deaths of innocent humans beings on either side is deplorable.

I'm surprised why people thought there would be a quick solution to this conflict unfortunately the IDF will go from the North right down to the South of the Gaza to hunt these barbarians out and dismantle Hamas, we know how these people think Warfare should be fought hiding amongst civilians putting their weaponry under hospitals schools etc religious bigots, who whole aim is to try and wipe Israel of the face of the earth
The more worrying thing is once this conflict comes to an end will the Palestinians be allowed back without any supervision IE return to their land with Hamas once again governing the Gaza, the Israelis will not allow that and why should they for it to happen again, there will have to be some form of task force (maybe a UN or Arab task force) there to supervise the Gaza going forward.
Will the Lebanon get involved before this conflict comes to an end with Hezbollah I wouldn't bet against it.

Israel created hamas let's not forget. They also bombed our soldiers relentlessly to gain their god given land. And you make excuses for it. Would you do that with the IRA?

According to the report they have turned to Serco to recruit deckhands. This country becomes more like an episode from the satirical TV comedy Brass Eye every week, spend Billions on warships that spend more time in dock for repairs and updates then government cutbacks mean its sat in dock with as much use as a chocolate teapot. This country is broken beyond repair, if you didn't laugh you'd cry. It's literally on its knees. Any young uns with any sense whatsoever, get yerself a working visa or green card or whatever they are called and try and make a go elsewhere cos this country has no future for the long term.

Completely agree. And building on your other post which demonstrates how woefully underfunded and resourced we are, I hope our focus on strengthening the armed forces continues to be where it should - hiring appropriately diverse recruits.

I don’t believe all in the Russia/Ukraine conflict is as it’s made to be, and the expansion of NATO can justifiably give Russia some security concerns.
