Please tell me at what point have i gave them managers a free pass they have failed but you have to ask why ???
I wanted them in and i wanted them out but its time to look at the bigger picture and ask why all these managers with good reps come here and fail ???????
GA will be no doubt next because hes somehow hoping a pee poor recruitment team can provide him with what he needs.

 

Sorry mate cant agree with a lot your posting tonight, folk don't think it acceptable but unfortunately its something that won't change until Rupp gets an offer he's happy to sell at.
You say don't fund it, no one forces anyone to attend, anyone who feels they can't continue supporting the club don't buy a season ticket its that simple but don't expect every one else to follow, I'm not happy with the situation but I won't be cohorted by other fans on a forum into following like a sheep.

 

Wilde would come here and fail because the whole structure is simply not there ........... i bet Wilde went to his recruitment team and told him what he wanted during the summer and they provided him with it could you trust our lot to do the same ??????
I bet you GA has provided a list already of what he wants but me and you know whats about to come in ..............a journeyman whose been released from FGR or crap loan signings from a PL club.

 

I can guarantee that PP got the players in that could play that way can you rely on this lot to do the same ???
I am sure that given time and the right tools that GA will get us out of this league but sadly he probably wont see 2024 out.

Why does having a big fan base go a long way to getting you out of this league, generating more money ?, that is not the case at Bradford City we get very good attendances but at a very low price, seriously tell me how else a large fan base helps you get out of any division, Leeds as an example had 20/30,000 on a regular basis at Elland Road in the Championship and they were there for years.

I gave you answers why they likes of Brighton.Bournmouth etc have climbed the leagues they have owners that have an interest in driving their investment we don't.
With regards your Wild comment I agree I'd have given him serious consideration but at the time some said the job was too big for him coming from little Halifax and going to Barrow where expectations weren't as high as the expectations at Valley Parade..
I don't believe for one minute if Hughes for instance wanted a right back Gent would tell Hughes this is the player your getting manage him, I do believe Gent has a portfolio of players he's watched and would put forward, Gent is Head of Recruitment not Director Of Football, they are different jobs the Director Of Football dictates the style of football and how they want it played and tells the coach it is his job is to get the best out of those players to play that style, Head of Recruitment is exactly what it says he achieves this through his network organisation and the management of their team of football scouts.

 

Wow chill my freind,I never said you were a sheep or zombie what I did say was I'll make my own mind up as you should and if your not happy paying £200 for a season ticket then stop attending a few have done that for their own reasons.
I don't need anyone to tell me about lining Rupps or any previous owners pocket, if I thought like that I can assure you I would have stopped attending games at Valley Parade many many years ago.

I must say the first thing that struck me on GA's arrival at our club, was how he can talk the talk, often these characters prove to be lacking when it comes to walking the walk.
Just hoping he comes good. Can't face another 18month of crap to be then sat 18th looking for another appointment.

It's now the third time we've conceded 4, and all of them since Hughes left.

 

Sadly true but I'm glad we made the change, watching us this season was worse than the previous season, it wasn't great but it achieved what we wanted after not getting an auto place.

 

I'm very concerned we've made another classic 'Sparks' appointment with a manager that doesn't suit the players we have.

After a good little run, the worries are now back, and this style of football is much worse IMO.

None of them are GA’s appointments that is pretty much fact.
Very very rare a manager walks into a club and transforms the playing side using the same players

I accept and accepted at the time that Hughes wasn't getting the best out of the players and probably had to go after so few wins... But appointing GA instead of a tactical successor was another major blunder...

 

But did we have a choice of managers? What if we have exhausted our good reputation? Managers don’t want to come here because we are a basket case?

If we were looking for a coach with a modern style, we might have had to look at someone less experienced, but plenty of other clubs do that at this level.
