    i am not expecting to see Pointon at city in february i say this as i cannot see any other reason for him to not be in the squad in recent weeks.

    Yesterday’s game saw Smiths weak side , he was easily bundled off the ball. Unless a team is halfway line sitting , his pace is wasted against a team sitting back, because there is no space to place the ball as the keeper mops it up.. Could Young cover the role? If not then sell him is probably the best outcome for everyone. Forget Swindon buying him.

    We only have a short window to recall him at the beginning of the transfer window, any time after that we'd need agreement from Swindon to recall him and I don't see why they would agree unless we paid them.

    Yeah, I read about this on X with someone suggesting it guaranteed Stockport the title so I thought I'd look him up.

    He couldn't get a game in the MLS and only has 1 full season (35 games for Tranmere) of first team football under his belt.

    Perhaps he is a super star and we've truly missed out but he's certainly got some ground to make up first and if really was that good, surely there'd have been interest higher up the divisions?
