    Yet it was Taylor that was hooked at half time and not Stubbs. We then went on to keep a clean sheet in that second half.

    Are you sure you aren't just following a narrative here?

    That's not necessarily because of the Notts performance though as was suggested.

    Otherwise he'd have taken Stubbs off at HT instead.

    I was all for a Young re call , but not at the expense of Smith, who is starting to form a good partnership with Cook.
    Would he want to come back and bench warm?
    If we can get a decent fee for him from a team in the league above, so be it.
    Ash Taylor to Stevenage would be good as well.

    Well if we were to sell him now I'd expect it'd be to a LG1 promotion chasing team.

    If he were to come back to us and replicate his goalscoring in the second half of the season here I'd expect we'd be fielding million pound bids from Champ clubs in the summer

    No, I thought Stubbs was just as bad as Taylor in the Notts county debacle and either could have been subbed. I don’t think we’ll see much more of Stubbs in a City shirt though he played ok last season.

    Then in the 3 games after that Taylor started and Stubbs was on the bench. The only start Stubbs has was against Liverpool U21s when Taylor didn't play as he was going to be suspended for the next league match then in that next league match Stubbs was dropped to the bench and against Doncaster Taylor was picked on the bench ahead of Stubbs.

    Yep. That's one of the two decisions GA is getting wrong imo.

    Pointon on the bench instead of Derbyshire is the other.
