Didn’t see any scrotes with flares at Gills last week…..
No coincidence that these incidents only occur at local games with large ticket allocations that reach general sale.
The club can take action themselves by not allowing general sale away tickets.

I expect the same kind of incidents at Crewe next week just like it was there last season.
The club could also have a photo of every season ticket holder, not to print on season tickets, but just to have on their internal database.
Then restrict away tickets to season ticket holders.
It shouldn’t have to come to this but a minority of our away following is giving us a reputation no better than Leeds and Millwall.

The difference is the leeds and Millwall fans are a bit handy, ours are spotty scruffy mullet wearing fannys fresh from buying their dodgy North face and Stoney gear from Dewsbury market and complete bypass the deodorant stall.

Something has to give with regards pyros, but IMO it is the responsibility of the home stewarding who gets allowed into the stadium, you and I both know trying to persuade these kids not to bring them to games isn't going to work they say it adds to the atmosphere at the game, I'd think the vast majority attending the games where they are let off would disagree.
I'm not sure with regards the kids who bring them are season ticket holders or as you say mates who just tag on when they go on sale to the general public, I don't think banning the sale to the general public is fair as there will be many floating fans (general public if you like) who go to these games and behave as most decent season ticket holders behave, its defiantly something that needs to be tackled by the club and if away tickets are only sold to season ticket holders then so be it.

At an educated guess I reckon there will be an investigation held by the football league after the latest shenanigans involving our club.
Once again any spare money accumulated by the club thus far will be used to pay fines imposed.
Sanctions could unfortunately be put in place eg reduced away allocations or far worse a possible points deduction.
Do the those who bring our clubs name into disripute care?
No, it's just the majority who suffer.
It's time to call it a day before some gets seriously hurt.
    It could be you.
Grow up and support the team without pyrotechnics it's that simple.
Use your voice and hands and stop hurting the club financially if you really care about Bradford City.
Myself and many others are sick and tired of this reoccurring problem.

Easy to identify them from the video & then still photo the supporters board post on X. Until stewards & BCAFC actually act then this will continue. Club & the travel clubs they potentially travel with need to step up

The stewards won’t act. Did you see the steward last night who refused to go anywhere near the pyro until it went out.
The travel clubs won’t act because is paramount to ‘grassing’
It’s up to the club to make it harder for non members and casual idiots to get access to away tickets.
Make it so that every away ticket purchased has to be assigned to a name, whether that be a ST holder or a fan with a membership number / ID.
Prevent fans buying more than 1 ticket under same name / membership.
Introduce photo ID for all ST holders / members to assist police with facial recognition / identification of individuals.
Anyone not willing to supply photo will lose ability to purchase away tickets.
Hard line to take but the idiots aren’t learning and the club is complicit.

Once identified these low life (and their parents if they are under 18) should receive lifetime bans from football. No club, least of all City, should have to deal with them. Turn them in guys they are causing reputational damage.

I fail to understand why any individual thinks colourful smoke brings something to the game of football.
They scorch the playing surface.Stink the stand out and disrupt playing momentum usually after a goal.
In a nutshell there's no place in football for flares or there handler's.

Confirms financial penalties will be incurred, and not for the first time.

This is literally hampering the clubs progression. Total up the fines for this idiocy and we could have had a player to make the difference in our promotion charge.

    Unbelievable

    YouTube.

They see these clubs where fans are doing huge displays with hundreds and hundreds of flares and think they can replicate it.

    Except they can't.

So they take a couple of little baby toys and set them on fire, and in their heads it's some grand and outrageous display, something really interesting.

Then they throw them on the pitch because they don't want to hold them up proudly and be escorted out because really, they know deep down inside it's not worth the aggro for them personally.

All the other team sees is a few little boys and a plume of orange smoke that is, to them, a bit pathetic.

The stewards were complying with EFL edicts not to touch pyros until they extinguish themselves on H&S grounds. So you won't see a man with a bucket anymore but will see more delays to play whilst these horrible and dangerous things burn out.
Looking at Bronco's post, when I arrived there were loads of stewards around and searching all the early Bantams arrivals but that clearly went out of the window later.
The comment about this issue being local games is spot on, last season's antics at Crewe blew a hole in any auto hopes we had, the goal that lost us the game coming in time added for the actions of our so called fans, what was it? 11 added minutes!.
I suspect we will get some comeback from the EFL and I just hope we don't have a repeat at Crewe. These idiots are costing us but too thick to understand and I doubt they ever will, only solution is life time ban backed up by Court Orders.

The young dimwits who do this always congregate on the concourse then arrive pitchside just before kick off.
As it happens I couldn't go to Doncaster away once it moved to a Friday night but my enjoyment of the game last year was somewhat diminished. I had to move twice in order to see anything whilst remaining seated. Then on my way out one of the idiots kicked a plastic dustbin across the concourse and a large lump of it narrowly missed my head as it broke up.
I go to any local away game with some trepidation now and little expectation that I will see the match easily.
I am more and more thinking I will stick to home games now.

No, the solution is to impose sanctions on away ticket sales. Regular law abiding away fans will understand.

That's so sad for somebody like you who seems to have followed the club playing away for many seasons. And all because of the yobs who find it exciting to ignite flares inside the ground where the danger to others is exacerbated. I should say that they ought to know better but clearly they don't give a damn. Hopefully the club will identify the idioks and take action against them so that the decent fans aren't discouraged from following the team in the future. At the moment, the club says all the right things but these kinds of incidents continue to plague the rest of the fans. The club has to step up its own vigilance.
