    I agree. It has started to do so for me. My last 'live' game: the debacle at home to Harrogate in the FA Cup last season - on my birthday so my old man and I went for the match+breakfast deal, was the latest in a long line of in-person defeats and I've continued on a downward trajectory since then (was not expecting promotion at all). The very recent upturn - I hesitate to call it a resurgence - means that not only am I prepared to put myself through a game I could've avoided but I'm quite optimistic about watching a team that will play as if it wants to win. Not 'hopes' or 'expects' but 'wants' to win. Win, lose, or draw, I cannot wait. Come on City.

    I really like how he talks. Comes across as no nonsense and no bullshit. Basically, play well you keep your place. If you don't you could be replaced. He's created the tactic off the back of the players we have as opposed to fitting the players in to a tactic.

    I have a lot of optimism for his tenure

    It was Leeds, HO office of Leeds Permanent Building Society. To be a member of the 13th Floor Club was quite an accolade, one I never attained (though the stationary cupboard did feature). Not sure if that old rogue Tynie ever made the club !
    And a win tonight could see us in 8th. Fine margins.

    When was the last time we had no injuries and we were in a season?

    No idea if this is down to GA and his changes to training methods or the fitness team but long may it continue!

    Very busy travelling up, nearly 2½ hours to do the 81 miles from Stafford to Donny.

    Not too bothered about Stubbs, he's not had a particularly good season in my opinion.

    Yes a little disappointing Idle, I would have thought that he could have at least a place on the bench instead of Derbyshire. Oliver is on the bench so we do have striker cover there.
