I think you should probably concentrate on your school work until 3.15.

How do you think they are going to react ? For sure they aren't going to look at a hail of balls thrown AT THEM and ignore it, they will take it personally and not think "oh, it's ok, it's just a protest against Stephan Rupp". They are going to take it as an affront to them and it very possibly could result in them losing the match due to lack of focus and being mightily p*ssed off that the supporters of the club have turned on them, supporters that they were told turned out in numbers and backed their team.

The best action are banners and chants (not xenophobic ones) aimed at the clubs owners and a massive backing for the players on the pitch to raise their confidence.

There is also a very strong chance that if this happens the referee will take both teams off the pitch and suspend the match for a period. What frame of mind will our players be in when they come back on ? It's definitely not going to be a positive one.

Good luck with it, and if you do join in, I really hope you get thrown out and a banning order.

I swear to god you are just frigging argumentative for the sake of it!! I haven't bloody said anywhere that "everyone at Bradford City is Xenophobic". You really do spin things to suit your own agenda pal and it is infuriating when posters feel they have to then retort to your posts just to try defend themselves

Hundreds is not "a few" is it. I have zero feelings about it either way. I was just simply feeding back what I heard when I was there, to give you some clarity on your previous comments as I rightly or wrongly assumed you weren't at the match. And for your information, I was stood a couple of blocks away from the contingent that I assume you are referring to as "coked & pissed up morons" so it was definitely not just a few

Let's stop and think with regards our fans passed behaviour (mostly at away games) that has caught the eye of the FA/EFL do we really want them to get involved again as they won't see it as a simple fan protest, let's give our new manager time to get the players responding to his ideas on the field.
Are we really suggesting our owner is anything like Owen Oyston and what he did to Blackpool, it's not ideal Rupp having little interest in OUR club apart from him wanting to make sure his investment is secure, I'd much prefer a hands on owner but unfortunately during his time as owner he has shown little or no interest, the latest were being told is up to last Saturday he hasn't even acknowledge our new manager which in itself is a disgrace IMO, how is a couple on minutes on a telephone going to effect his day.
There is little I can do with regards someone on Face Book thinking because a few of his school mates are happy to throw a tennis ball on the field of play he speaks for all of us, buddy you've no idea what supporting our football club is all about.

I don’t give a damm about individuals Sparks and Rupp are only here temporarily. I happen to think Sparks despite his detractors has done a far better job than our league position sets out.
However the lesson the protesters with planes tennis balls and wearing back with right wing undertones should learn is if they want change then it’s talk and persuasion that works best.
There are supporters probable some on here have the ear of Sparks and there are ways of contacting Rupp. There may also be people on here who know prospective buyers. As with the case of Rahic talking in a respectful manner is far more likely to provide the solution you want than futile gestures

I'm really not sure why you're getting all worked up about the post.

All I'm saying is those morons with the offensive chanting don't represent me, I'm sure also don't represent you and definitely don't represent the general Bradford City fan base so let's not over react and throw terms like "xenophobic" about as it's clearly not very helpful.

I understand you want to send a message to the management and owner, but it will impact on the players and our new manager. They are the ones visible, and the ones who are actually losing games that has meant we are 19th in the league. The players are already apologising to the fans.

We will be left with Rupp and Sparks whether the fans throw tennis balls or not. Our money is the only thing that might alter that conundrum. We need to get our thinking caps on how we might make Rupp think about this sustainable club.

So tennis balls will have a big impact on the players but banners and chants won't?
That's what you seem to be saying.

Talk and persuasion sounds great. If only we had a mediator-type group of people, with the genuine interests of Bradford City at heart, to represent us fans to "talk and persuade" the hierarchy

    Oh wait a minute....

A lot of fans would agree there has been a lot of good done off the pitch. The commercial numbers don't lie.
Unfortunately, we're a football club which will always be judged by what happens on the pitch.

Don't like the idea of it as I think it'll get the happy clappers more on Rupp/Sparks side, really do think it's better if they sit there shocked at the lack of attendance, or perhaps even happy the 'toxic fans' have gone and the 'real fans' can will the team to victory, only for nothing to change.

So are you suggesting the so called happy clappers don't care about their club unless they going along with this hairbrained idea of throwing missiles onto the pitch whilst the game is on be they tennis balls or soft toys.
You do what you think is right and leave other fans to make their own choice of what they feel is right, nowt like dividing Bradford City fans with the above comments, happy clappers, toxic fans, real fans.
I've personally met many fellow posters from this and previous forums over the years and downed a few beers with them, you know what the likes of your above characterisations never gets brought up because we're usually busy talking about how we expect the game to go because were all Bradford City fans.

Feel like you've misread my comment or maybe it wasn't clearly put.

My mention of 'toxic fans' and 'real fans' are terms used by people who bemoan anyone not "getting behind the lads ffs", it's me mocking the idea of people identifying themselves as 'real fans', not me dividing the fanbase between the two. It's the same people who think we're a small club who only have fans because of 'cheap' season tickets.

I don't agree with the tennis ball protest and think it causes more division and ruins the viewing experience of those who have gone to watch the game. It would turn people against this 'Rupp Out' movement for potentially ruining their matchday experience, when those protesting the club could simply not go.

Hope the extra security and searches being planned don't upset @Fordy117@Fordy117 too much when he turns up a few minutes before kick off and misses the start

Coventry's 2 promotions were whilst Sisu were still owners. The protests at Blackpool seemingly had no effect on the Oyston family who only lost control of the club when the receicers were called in after they lost a court case with a co-owner. Hull City were relegated after their tennis ball protests and then promoted as Champions with the same owners still in place who then subsequently sold the club. As for Charlton, how many "new owners" do you want? They've been through about 4 sets of owners in the last 4 years (I say about because not all of them have passed the fit and proper persons test and various individuals in consortia have sued each other for ownership so it's a bit complicated) and Duchatalet, the original owner the fans understandably wanted to get rid of still owns the ground.

Had to laugh at a post on Twitter. Someone put they’d be willing to chuck tennis balls providing they don’t hit the players. The reply is that they won’t hit the players. Most of these young muppets who are going to throw them won’t be capable of reaching the pitch with the balls never mind missing the players.
