Tennis balls it wasn't

If the weather forecast is correct it could be Snowballs instead of tennis balls

 

I arrived at work about an hour ago and threw a tennis ball on the floor.

It's just been announced that our business has been sold and the new owner is on the way.

 

Great idea, can't eat while playing a kazoo m9.

 

Every now and again I see a post and think, "some people just shouldn't be allowed internet access".

I think Silver does it deliberately for attention.

 

It is not waiting and doing nothing. We are all concerned, but we just have to support the team for a few weeks to give our new manager some time. If we start protesting it will disrupt the team regardless of where the blame lies. I just don’t see how this will get us a change of owner that would benefit our club.

 

But any protest will disrupt the team. Throwing tennis balls or chanting will have an undesirable effect on the team, not to mention the manager. I believe GA and staff near a clear run to sort this out. It still will not alter our current set up with Rupp and Sparks, there are no instant solutions to that dilemma.

 

Usually agree with you and don't support chucking tennis balls
Something has to be done unlikely but supposing GA turns it round and we show improvement
The unrest will temporarily disappear but we will still be left with Rupp and Sparks awaiting the next calamity
Short term (hopefully) distraction long term gain

 

So I've just seen this thread and been greeted with the following.

"Will you be throwing a tennis ball onto the pitch during the Accrington Game?"

After the Morecambe game this season I vowed not to attend another away game and waste money watching a host of wasters going through the motions picking up a wage. Nothing since has changed my mind. There was the flash in the pan win at Newport and a decent result at Wimbledon. However from what I have seen from a distance Tranmere, MK Dons, Sutton Utd & Notts County have been dreadful. Tranmere and Sutton are dire sides who won't get an easier win, Notts County did in the first half was MK Dons were threatening to do.

As I have paid for a season ticket I have still been going to home games but to answer the question posed, I don't know because I really don't know if I can be arsed making the effort to sit in the cold for 2 hours watching was is likely to be a shit game of football for a minibus of people from Accrington ending up taking 3 points back across to Lancashire. So I couldn't throw a tennis ball on the pitch on the basis I at this stage don't even know if I can be bother to put up the effort to attend.

Its getting a bit daft. Tennis balls is petty and childish.

i want Rupp out, and I’d like Sparks’ role evaluating, but tennis balls does nothing but anger our own players when the game gets halted. Embarrassing fans in front of GA too, and will achieve nothing.

A protest in the car park will get noticed as its hell around the ground after a game anyway but it might kick off between our own fans with access routes blocked.

…….a good old simple boycott is the only sensible/meaningful protest. Let the club see how many are pissed off when the stands are empty. We can watch game on firesticks anyway and saves the hassle of going down VP.

 

Just to add my two penn'orth....

During the first half of the match, there were many anti-board chants being sung by a large section of our fans. On at least 2 occasions, a rendition of "you German *@?$, get out of our club" went round. If that isn't Xenophobia, I don't know what is

Obviously none this would not have been picked up by the Sky cameras, as several anti-Sky chants were also sung

 

Because a few coked and p1ssed up morons sing a nasty song then the whole thing is because everyone at Bradford City wanting Rupp out is xenophobic?

I mean, I'm sure it makes sense if you try, really, really hard.

 

It will alienate the players rather than motivate them
It will send the wrong message to the new manager
It could get you arrested or banned
It's purile, childish nonsense

 

These same coked up and p*ssed up morons are going to be going to Doncaster on "mad friday". I fear that could be carnage after a full day on the pop.

 

I suspect nearly 97% of people saying no just shows how stupid the suggestion of throwing anything really is and it's only the certifiable who disagree.
