We only scored two cos they were four up and half time! I imagine they got a bollocking. Meanwhile, we’re giving credit for our second half. The game was already won by County!

 

I only don't blame our recruitment but These players would get most managers sacked.

 

The only good news about today, is that Alexander has seen how terrible Smith and Taylor are. However, in fairness to the latter I can see how he would be effective in a team that plays hoof ball. I can't see anyone in L2 taking on Smith.

I hope and pray, Alexander realises that a 4-3-3, even if it only has one striker is way way better than a team with Smith in it.

 

LOL we can't even get competition for Cook let alone replace him - IN JANUARY

 

It will be a very brave manager who drops Cook even though compared with last season he's been poor by his standards, who do you replace him with, again today although he was poor he was getting into positions to score where was Smith, do we have to hope bringing Young back is the answer because IMO neither Oliver or Smith are the answer.

 

Young would cost us to bring back.

Sometimes you have to stick with an out of form player, but the question with Cook is, is he fit or still hampered by injury?

Oh I realise, we'll have to stick with him until at least January, when Oliver will be fit (I'm not as doubtful about Oliver) or Young comes back.

But ironically, he plays better with the likes of Walker and Pointon - popping in the holes he creates. Having a partner that is rubbish, mean we're playing with ten men.

Of course, I'll be delighted he scores ten before then and makes me eat my words!!

 

Is there a cost involved? I can't imagine it's that much. I'd be happy for Young to get back scoring and then a L1 team comes in with a daft offer.

I get your point. Don't get me wrong I too are unconvinced that's the answer. Young seems to be another one of those fair weather players. What we need is someone with the same attitude as Walker, who even when not playing well keeps himself involved and then nearly always ends up creating someone, as the No.2 striker.

 

Why? I thought he lived in Sheffield and missed his family when playing for Gillingham.

 

It wasn't daft at the time look at all the type of goals cook got in his 31 last season.

Not as if Wrexham are slightly bothered about fees for declining players when got unlimited budget

 

Unfortunately its hard to defend the sitters Cook has missed so far this season but your right just what does Smith offer, I keep hearing about players having pace, yet when the whistle goes time and time again these players go missing.

 

Lewis continues to be a worry.Although I am not sure he should have saved any of the goals today,he looked very uncertain,and his kicking was poor.His reflexes seem so much slower than they were last season.

 

And isn't the lad one we paid a fee for ?.

 

I'm as you know a big Andy Cook fan but today we didn't lose the game because of Cooks misses or do you believe we did honest question ?.
