Jeeze if accurate even those owning football clubs jump on the keyboard bandwagon. That’s one way of endearing oneself to the fans. Silly man, true or not true, fodder for the Australian press.

 

If our best players are all fit then a strict 4-3-3 probably doesn't work. We'd shoe-horn Walker and Pattison into places they don't want to play really. If it was more of a 4-5-1 then it may work.

Always cringed at that. Especially when he wasn’t a first teamer. In the words of Roy Keane “stop being a funny bollocks. Knuckle down and do your job”. Or words to the effect.

 

Well I liked him. He worked hard, and had a good engine. Plus I think he could have played more. Trying to make other players play in midfield rather than have him in the team. Just my view course.

I think he made one pretty good attacking run, that's about it that I can recall.

He's playing regularly at Rochdale now, so if he's actually any good he will shine and maybe get another shot at league level. If he's not, he will fade into non-league obscurity.

 

Loan wise at the club, the only lads I would keep are the latest likes of tulloch and Tompkinson who actually have something about them and show a element of quality rather than the others who will drift down the division's in their respective position, again unfortunately another rebuild is required with numerous players on lucrative contracts who have not performed at all for our club on ridiculous Long term contracts

were two players we did make contact with and failed to agree terms along with Jordan ibe and Adam reach......the powers that be failed to sanction any other transfers despite the panic for numbers in the squad while sending out our own youngsters to leagues that are way and beyond their level

Savoury did his cruciate last year and missed almost a full season. Then another knee injury in Spring this year.

Yep, his agency represent East as well as Tomkinson in the current squad. They also represent Adam Clayton from last years squad.

 

Gosh, was Clayton last year? Feels like a few seasons by now...

Ibe is at Ebsfleet - absolute shite. Sinclair is well past it. Dodged 2 bullets there.

 

Adam Reach got a thigh injury on 22nd July which has ruled him out until the new year and he had a knee injury which made him miss the last 6 weeks of last season and it was linked to the injury he got in July.
