    Agree that we don't have much chance with Warnock and he isn't even in the betting - or so it seems.
    However he has said that he is willing to work anywhere, even in League 2 so he is prepared to drop if it is the right club for him.
    We will see!

    Stranger things have happened... MH's !

    I wonder if clubs have ever happily thrown the bookies lollipops, to keep the real target quiet and away from media intrusion.

    I'd wouldn't be adverse to seeing Warnock in the hot-seat, as well as a wily manager he's also such a character.

    How things change, many years ago I asked BFG about Warnock, he said he'd loved to appoint him as City manager, he just daren't as the fan-base at the time for some reason despised him.

    Imagine the wealth of experience/knowledge he could pass on to him or any other young ambitious manager

    Even better and with the experience he would bring importantly to the whole setup at the club from top to bottom, there has never been a better chance to bring in someone with that wealth of experience, obviously iff he wants it but for me he's the one !

    He loves the one to one with the players that’s his strength he would be good asa DOF but I don’t think he would accept it

    People have to think about the manager in a DOF situation, especially at this level where many are in the early days of their management careers, and the negative impact it could have rather than thinking it's 100% positive.

    If I were a young manager in the Football League, I wouldn't want Warnock sitting above me as nobody would give you the credit when things go well. It would be all about Warnock… when things go wrong, the manager would be to blame because “it can't be Warnock's fault”
