He probably has a lot of friends at the club from his time there and goes to watch them for something to do and to keep an eye on the league.

 

Perhaps the bookies have the wrong ex MK Dons manager.

Despite the current odds, I just cannot see it being Alexander

 

Why not ? He's proven he can't cut it in the PL. Two failed PL jobs doesn't make you a PL manager.

His best results came at l2 & l1 level. He will know that and will also know this is agreat opportunity to rebuild his career. He'd number one on my list.

 

He was 25/1 after the game on Saturday. If the bookies are on the money with this one, that would have been a nice time to Bob a few quid on.

 

It’s starting to feel abit of a mess now. I’m slightly concerned Sparks doesn’t have a clue what to do. Maybe tonight’s result in a way was a blessing as Kev was getting results and you don’t want to disturb a winning team but you run the risk of another Sellars and Trueman disaster by giving the job to somebody under qualified.
We need someone in asap as it’s gone on long enough.

 

Not to kick people when we’re all down, but some got far too carried away over two wins by 1 goal and a reserve cup game. Hopefully those saying he’s the only person for the job will realise they’re wrong.

 

If we were going through a full interview process like it seems it was always going to take a more than 1 or 2 weeks just like it has done for Gillingham. If we started interviews last week, the last of them will probably be done tomorrow/thursday then a 2nd round late this week/early next week with a view to making an appointment in time for the Wycombe game.

 

Didn't I read on here that the Cowleys were being interviewed yesterday? Let's hope they're appointed within the next forty-eight hours.

 

Well if we're waiting to see how he reacts to adversity we'll find out on Saturday, assuming of course an appointment won't be made and my fear now is if that is the case it'll be a rushed panic one

Anyway, what was Alexander doing so wrong that he couldnt get a performance like that out of them. We ourselves have had a slight uplift but MK were chalk and cheese compared to our "turnaround"

 

Alexander was a bad fit for MK Dons and was instantly disliked because of his style.

Just like Hughes gradually wore our fans down by playing football.

 

Well it's highly unlikely I'll ever visit Valley Parade or even the city of Bradford; and there are currently no teams near me who'll be playing Bradford City this season.
I did watch Lincoln win at Gateshead to virtually clinch The National League title and, I admit, they were terrible. But they scored twice in stoppage time to snatch all three points. What I took from that was the Cowleys play winning football.
I just hope you get the chance to see it.

Someone on Facebook earlier today said that ex Ajax manager Maurice Steijn landed at Yeadon Airport today.

Rumours of potential Dutch owners in the market for us on here a few days ago.

Surely not?

 

Nothing wrong with Dutch owners if their intentions are good. But a manager who has managed to take AJAX to second bottom of the Dutch league; no thankyou.
