One question levelled at Kev was we haven’t seem him react to adversity. We did today, having trailed, and his subs helped force the equaliser.

been out since FT so not seen his interview. Did he say owt on his future?

Be very surprised should he change his mind. He will have plenty of opportunities to go into managing and any ex managers say the best job in the world is playing football. Our's is one of the most attractive jobs in the division but at the moment, he is doing his cv no harm and we will be wanting managers in the future. Be interesting to see how he deals with a couple of key suspensions. Looks like it was a good idea for him to have played at Grimsby. Also, we will have a new signing soon(Chapman).

Well we had one suspension yesterday and personally I felt Ash Taylor made a better partnership with Stubbs than Platt does. Taylor lokked and played like a different person to the one I saw at Crawley, much slimmer, lighter, more mobile and read the game well against tricky forwards, not sure who the next suspension might be but we have a squad who want to play.
I spoke with both PP and Steve Parkin separately, after the game, both felt we have a good team and our subs made a difference, they did. Even a view that if they'd come on even 5 minutes earlier we might have converted the pressure into a win. One thing is for certain, a few weeks ago we would have gone to a meek 1-0 defeat.

First Half I thought Taylor was a bit shaky and had to work hard to correct his positioning errors, I also thought that Parky would have seen this and tried to use it to his advantage. Credit to him (and this is a good example of his experience) he came good as the game progressed.
Against teams like Wrexham who marked Cook very well, maybe we need a more mobile front man to create more chances for the team? But having said that, your not going to start your main goal scorer from the bench.

Chappy wouldn’t get in the first 11 , there is the conundrum?
That would mean dropping Bobby! Not on yesterday’s showing.

Put Bobby in at the No 10 , then Walker gets dropped. See what I mean?
I seriously would consider Oliver in the new formation as Cookie had a rare poor game yesterday perhaps?

Wouldn't Chapman come in on the left? Replace Osadebe in yesterday's line up?

Something i mentioned a few weeks ago when watching Pointon Kev, he's got all the tools to play a creative 10. Quick feet, nimble, ridiculous first touch and vision. I'd have moved him there yesterday with about 30 to go and brought on pace on the flanks.

It just gets better. Think Chapman could have started on the left. If not, a good sub to come on.

Yes, he usually plays left and cuts in. Played left of a three at Blackburn if memory serves.

You are spot on , he had a good game. I thought yesterday’s game and performance sealed the round of interviews all on its own. The player and supporter engagement has been transformed, the style of play and application likewise. Of recent times, going a goal down when we did would see us trying to “hold on” to a 1-0 defeat. Not under KMc and his supporting team.

3 wins and a draw against at least three of the better sides in the division says it all. I can’t for the life in me see what tearing up that momentum at this stage would bring. A new boss would come in and we start all over again.

We have been around the block a while, and a transformation like we are witnessing , with the same squad , I don’t ever recall.

I’d give him the job tomorrow.

Totally agree. He’s got the trickery and pace to do it too! Credit to MH and now KMc and the support staff …they have found an absolute gem. We need to pay him accordingly going forward!

I wouldn’t drop Osadebe either at the moment, but yes a possibility.

I think Morais said something similar after the game. He doesn't see Bobby as a wide player. Sees him as a No 10, or more likely a No 8. TBH I'm not sure what a No 8 is nowadays

Taylor worried me early on, especially when he misjudged a bounce that let Fletcher in. However, he did put that behind him well and grew into the game.

There's also Pattison on his way back from injury as well. Whether KM gets the job full time or it's someone new, they are definitely going to be faced with the kind of headache managers love to have!

Another conundrum , where does Pattison fit too?
I wouldn’t drop Gilly , another who had a great game yesterday.

I thought Oyegoke might have come on for a bit yesterday.
His last 2 little cameos on the right have been very impressive and it definitely looks like it’s his best position.

McDonalds decision to bring on Wilson proved correct though as he scored.
2 or 3 different choices is a nice problem to have.
