At most we would sell for is 7.5m in my mind. 10m no chance.

 

How much has it cost Wrexham to get to where they are? how much has it cost Salford to get to where they are? Name any club you want that would be a better proposition for 10 million.
I don't know if there's any truth to the rumour but equally I don't think you would be able to buy any other club with the facilities and potential for much less.

 

When most clubs are bought they have mountains of debt to cover. Not us

 

Interesting article in the Athletic today with interviews with Rhodes and Lawn and their relationship with Parkinson. Apparently we had to sell Wells just to keep the club trading despite reaching a league cup final only months earlier, this caused a bit of a rift between owners and Parkinson. Also Lawn just flew in from his holiday home in Spain yesterday so not him driving away in his Bentley after this alleged meeting last week.

 

But we own nothing also.

 

He was there to watch a game, simple as.

 

Was watching the Wrexham doc and was surprised to see Lawn as a guest sat with Shaun Harvey in their box. Was in another scene with Harvey sat at a table having some pre-game bits of food.

Wrexham owners weren't there Dave. Shaun Harvey was the only senior person in the Boardroom from them, plus PP's parents and son. Ryan Reynolds is in Texas for the F1 and apparently the regular attendance at games is a bit of an illusion, only there when being filmed for the docu apparently. There was a film crew with Shaun Harvey at the Memorial where he was explaining about the fire, then, after the match they barged into the Boardroom to interview him but to his credit he got shut very quickly.

In terms of any sale Fordy is slightly wrong, it was £5.5 mil, plus fees of course. You can speculate as much as you want about a sale but that only happens with a willing seller and a willing buyer. Then on top there are such as legal fees and now you have to add the 'fit and proper' financial guarentee of prooving or depositing money to run the club for 3 years after purchase at £1.5mil per annum or if you want as an example a purchase of £5 mil is now £9.5 mil or £9 mil is now £13.5 mil.

 

No. The ground is owned by the Flamingo Land director's pension fund.
The training pitches are part of the Woodhouse Grove private school. The facilities are excellent. Don't know the financial relationship exactly. Many of our youth players board at Woodhouse Grove.

I know people like these "openly speaks in the public" owners sometimes, but when things go wrong it very publicly goes wrong too. Airing all he's aired and very openly saying he wants out probably won't help his sale price. About to get low-balled beyond belief.
