    Hey guys been a while.

    So, met someone this morning and go to discussing Bradford City.

    Apparently there are three different people/groups interested in purchasing City.

    There is interest from someone who owns a Eredivisie (Dutch Premier League) team who is looking to use City as a feeder team.

    There are then two American groups who are interested.

    All are in negotiation and the asking price for City is £10M.

    The source is absolutely unimpeachable.

    All fairly believable apart from the £10m asking price.

    Basically spending £10m on "nothing", maybe £1/2m tops in playing assets and a million or so in possible outstanding sell on clauses but other than absolute zilch for your money.

    You may have "goodwill" in terms of ST holders but even that is surely wearing thin

    Not sure about goodwill wearing thin from supporters, get it right and we can shift tickets, almost 22000 for tomorrow shows that.
    I will believe all this like the umpteen rumors over the past years and take it with a pinch of salt.

    Potential wise £10m isn't crazy, but surely Rupp must know the worth of the club is purely based on fan loyalty at this point?

    Another bad season will have even more fans fed up with his ownership and less likely to renew, once the fans are gone then the worth of the club dwindles. Would he rather lose it all if he can't make a decent profit?

    He bought us for £5.5m and knocked us down a division, we have a nicer pitch now but what justifies a £4.5m increase? That's greed and holding our potential hostage IMO.

    Remember, Sterling crashed after Brexit, so he really paid more like £4m after the Euro/Sterling conversion.

    I don't think £10m being the asking price is unbelievable when Rupp won't want to sell the club at a loss and he paid at least £5m for the club. We are worth more than £2m, Wrexham were bought for £2m and they were non-league, Crawley were bought for £5m. Having EFL membership is worth far more than National League membership

    The price paid, as quoted to me during the conversation, was £6.7M. If this helps at all when he finished talking to me he got into his Bentley and drove home.

    No it was not Baldwin.

    I know one of our past joint owners owns a Bentley number plates something like "BI6 GOB" Am I getting warmer ?.

    To be fair Rupp has never denied the club is not for sale.
