Precisely. At no point has anybody demanded to hear from Sparks on evey minor detail but he has gone to ground completely.

As you rightly say a football club is slightly different than an every day business and communication is key when things are not going so well.

How do you know the recruitment process is not going so well? Yesterday you claimed a lack of information are you now suggesting you do know.?

I am no fan of Rupp or Sparks but even I can’t agree here. Keep their head down concentrate on bringing the best on the market into the club and close out the background noise.

They're obviously not talking specifically about recruitment not going well.

He is another one successful at a couple of clubs a failure at others. I think a lot depends on what these managers take over and are left by the previous regimes. Unless we appoint Mac or another Rookie you can bet whoever takes over has failures somewhere on his cv

Totally agree Jon, the Club made a statement when Hughes and Hodges left. Clear and concise, what more could you want?.
As to McD I agree, all good experience which so far, in my opinion, he has handled well. Obviously early days but post Wimbledon he was very clear he thought we were off it at certain times, echoed by Lewis, Ridehalgh and Manny in their pieces, the message had clearly got through to them as it did to me when I listened. Leave them alone they know what they're about.

Think it’s a lose lose for sparks if he says anything.
He’ll get attacked for making a statement, as with the “won’t accept mediocrity at Bradford”
Or people will complain if he doesn’t.

Rather he focused on finding the right manager personally.

Kev has said he speaks daily with Ryan and he seems very comfortable in front of the camera. He is a big boy now and can handle himself just fine it seems.

In an astonishing week of football action, Bradford City supporters have been treated to a remarkable spectacle, witnessing their beloved team secure three consecutive victories under the guidance of temporary manager Kevin McDonald. The footballing world was in awe as the Bantams demonstrated their prowess, outperforming all expectations and marking a promising turning point in their season.

The week began with an electric atmosphere at Valley Parade as Bradford City squared off against one of the league's top contenders, Swindon Town. Despite the odds stacked against them, the home team delivered a performance that left fans roaring with delight. The Bantams showcased remarkable resilience and unity, and with a final score of 1-0 in their favor, the fans knew they were in for a special week.

But the triumph didn't stop there. A midweek clash against Grimsby was next on the agenda. With Kevin McDonald's leadership and tactical acumen shining through, Bradford City maintained their momentum. Their attacking style and defensive solidity earned them a victory, impressing both fans and pundits alike.

The icing on the cake came this weekend as Bradford City faced off against AFC Wimbledon, further asserting their dominance under McDonald's temporary stewardship. The team's attacking prowess was on full display, as they won in a thrilling victory. The fans couldn't have asked for a better way to round off a remarkable week.

Kevin McDonald's brief tenure as the temporary manager of Bradford City has not only rekindled hope among fans but also instilled a sense of belief in the squad. His ability to instigate a quick turnaround and ignite the team's fighting spirit has not gone unnoticed.

Bradford City CEO, Ryan Sparks spoke highly of McDonald's impact: "Kevin has provided the stability and motivation that our team needed during this transitional period. His tactical awareness and the unity he's fostered within the squad are undeniable. We are extremely pleased with the results we've witnessed this week."

The players themselves have been vocal in their support of McDonald. Team captain,Richie Smallwood, praised the temporary manager, saying, "Kevin has brought a fresh perspective and a winning mentality to the squad. His tactical insights have been crucial, and we are inspired to give our all on the field."

While Kevin McDonald's role as temporary manager is not a permanent appointment, these three consecutive victories have undoubtedly bolstered his case for a more permanent position. The fans have embraced him, and the players have responded positively to his leadership.

As we reflect on the past week, it's evident that something special is brewing at Valley Parade. With Kevin McDonald at the helm, Bradford City has taken a significant step forward in their journey to success, leaving fans eagerly anticipating what the future holds for their beloved club with Phil Parkinson and Wrexham next up on Saturday.

American spelling of "favo(u)r. Did you get AI to write it for you? :)

In my opinion, the reason RS is so quiet, is cos he doesn't know what to say! McD's three wins on the trot must be making him smile, but at the same time give him a right headache. He's been down that road before, recruiting in house due to some run of form and got his fingers burnt. He knows he's got to get it right this time, and he'll be looking at appointing the right man with the right credentials, and also be looking into the future making sure he's not going to be sacking someone after yet another failure. Poor fella is probably in a dark room somewhere burying his head in his spam box.
