Not sure how old Sydney bantam is, but he obviously never saw Stuart play for this club. You can use many words to describe Mccall , non of them negative, especially fraud.

 

I just can't do with comments like that, if he/she never saw him play they should educate themselves, what he and the others players did after that fateful day deserve far more respect for that one reason alone attending funerals visiting at hospitals etc.
Stuart could have gone the season before the nearly season but stayed to try and get HIS CLUB promoted, he never achieved it first time round so he returned to finish the job when he could have earned far more playing elsewhere, unless of course its a wind up and if so it's tasteless.

Why's Stuart a fraud?

 

I can separate the manager from the player. He's done great as our caretaker so far, but when he's played, he has been ok at best. Of course, it's a game of opinions

 

A very odd comment please enlighten the readership with your reasons for Stuart being a "fraud".

 

Hardly a complete turnaround, we've won two league games 1-0 in one of which we were very much riding our luck - still not seen what happens when the chips are down... better teams might punish us for being so wasteful with the ball, for all we know Smallwood goes back to sulking the first time we go behind, we still have no idea if MacDonald has a plan for how to break down a team who comes to VP with 10 men behind the ball hoping to smash and grab but being happy with a draw. I'm glad we're winning but not getting carried away, definitely want a proper manager in even if he goes on to win the next 2 - 3 games

 

I never mentioned anything about his management but suggesting "his legs have gone" just seemed a lazy response.

Even at 25 his style wasn't tearing up and down the pitch so it's not that he's slowed down and stopped doing what he did previously.

Under Hughes, for me, he was in our first 11 but to be fair, with the improvement of Smallwood then we're not missing his experience and play making in there as much as I thought we might.

 

MK Dons have sacked Alexander this morning. Another 'should be challenger' looking for a new manager.

 

I was on "The Concrete Roundabout" yesterday and most were saying he had to go. I didn't think Winkelman would have acted so quickly. I thought Alexander was an unexciting appointment but he's only been there for thirteen league games.

His style of play and management at this level will only ever be incredibly good or piss everyone off. Worth remembering Alexander was the manager of the month in August, things have gone very bad very quickly for him and he is too stubborn to change any of his approaches.

 

literally himself almost took us out the league. 22nd cos he wanted to keep playing likes of BRE and Mottley Henry. Disagraceful he kept doing that, almost cost the club its entire history. No chance Stefan would of bailed us out if we dropped out of the league.
