Any decision be that a signing, choosing a kit design, assembling a management team through to a takeover is a risk.

The status quo is slowly killing us. Rupps regime has been here 7+ years now and he's taken us from the brink of the Championship to bottom third of L2. If you live in fear of every 'what if' I'm not sure how you get through life.

Not saying be gung ho and accept anyone, but there has to be an acceptance of risk and embracing of change.

Still waiting on one of the 22 in favour to give the vast majority some hope as to why you’d trust Sparks and Rupp. Be interesting to know as they’ll likely need their judgement when Hughes goes which really makes me worry for the future of the club.

What really worries me is that we are 18th in league two and the last few performances we deserve to be there or even lower.Worrying times.

Mystical 22 better hope to god it’s 10th time lucky for Rupp and what is it 5 times lucky for sparks for recruitment. Appalling shambles of a club and probably one of the lowest points in years.

I would definitely bring Baldwin into the club. Sparks has done some fantastic work on the commercial side and long may it continue. Baldwin for me would provide a clear strategy and a less knee jerk approach to on the field matters.

Rupp has been over here more than he usually is, maybe there is something going on? Would be great if Baldwin was involved in some capacity.

Rupp seems to have a very good relationship with Rhodes, how did Rhodes and Baldwin get on? Not beyond the realms of possibility is it.

Noticed in the guardian article yesterday Simon Parker is even stating Rupp wants to much for given we own nothing.

Part of me thinks he should lose what he’s invested as he is culpable either by sleeping at wheel or bringing in terrible staff.

Kev McD has done a great job but we only move on when Rupp moves out. I can’t see it happening anytime soon which is truly depressing.

Really. You are saying Rupp should lose his investment, on the basis of we have not managed to gain promotion, a football matter, yet the actual business side is running as well as it ever has with record turn over for league 2 , on the back of cheap tickets to watch the product.
On that basis there would be very few owner left.

Think he's more likely thinking along the lines of how rupp has run this club into the ground. All well and good getting more sponsorship etc but on the footballing side we've gone from top end league 1 to arse end of league 2 under his stewardship.

    Proud custodian indeed

The number in the poll for fans having faith has gone up… how on earth. Not one person can give a reasonable argument as to why they trust them.

Can anyone remember Baldwin and Lawns appointments during their early years?

McCall, Taylor, Jackson, Parkinson - took 6 years until Parkinson took us up in 2013.....

Baldwin held in very high regard but as CEO it took mistakes and time to get us out of L2.

Nothing wrong with Sparks trying McCall, T&S, Adams and Hughes. No real complaints at the time. On field tactics and recruitment shite which Sparks doesnt really control.

Sparks tried to drop hints for quality over quantity this summer with his meaner and leaner outlook. Hughes ignored him though and we ended up with a bloated squad of 30 again.

Sparks could have told Hughes no....but then
