    I'm clearly a lot more cynical than you and Kev. This looks like a ploy to get a few extra quid out of people under the pretence they are getting to see the new kit 12 hours before everyone else, when really, we all know Gavin from Holmewood will have it up on twitter within 5 minutes.

    How will it get a few extra quid? If you are going to buy one you’ll buy one. You won’t buy two because they are opening for a couple of hours on Wed afternoon ?

    One way of trying to sell memberships I guess. As you say someone will have it up on social media within 5 minutes. Let's face it we've waited long enough, might as well wait till Thursday as opposed to buying a membership.

    Perhaps one needs to be a ST holder as opposed to being a “ site” member and a registered purchaser of tickets etc?

    Would certainly sell a few more memberships for these exclusive events...

    Surely it would make more sense to advertise a new player unveiling it though....folk would soon part with £35!

    I think if anything it will be the social media reveal that potentially has a new player. The kit will be old news after Gavin from Holmewood posts it on Twitter....

    £4.37.5 seems a strange amount to pay for Boltmaker! Down a pub you know well, you could get 8.75 pints for that price!

    Agree what is the point of parting with the dosh. Nearly two away games entry money(if you have enough Loyalty Points).

    Apparently the kit is going to be revealed to everyone either this evening or lunchtime tomorrow, with the "Exclusive Event" that's going on between 5-7 on Weds being just an exclusive window for purchase before it goes on general sale at 9am on Thursday. Rather than it being an exclusive reveal event, as some have taken it online.

    The Wednesday thing is seemingly our version of the pre-sale stuff Ticketmaster do for gigs and events.

    8.14 - it's £4.30 in the Ling Bob, though if you went to the Dog & Gun at Oxenhope you would only get 5.74 as it's £6.10 a pint.

    The extra 60p is for a packet of Crisps.
