Rumour was that he was in talks with us but he’s going to go to either Wrexham or a League One club.

 

So nobody knows where he’s going …That’s the bottom line.

 

So what, Paul Mullins went the other way. Money counts when deciding a move as well as location.

 

Don’t know what the love in is with Dan Agyei, he played well against us at Crewe, but against an old static defence. We made him look better than he was. Don’t forget he didn’t manage a full game probably played up and his best game against a top team like City.
Don’t think we should be gagging our hat on a signing like this. Is so all well and good, if not plenty more good players out there.

Just my opinion but I honestly don't get the love in with Dan Agyei, yes he made Stubbs look static when we played Crewe at their place but Stubbs is hardly know for his speed,
I can't honestly say I noticed him at Valley Parade when Crewe came down, he's hardly prolific last season was the first time he'd hit double figures in his career, I hope if we are in contention for his signature he proves me wrong if he signs for us.

 

We need pace and a goal threat from the top three players behind Cook and Agyei would provide that. Agreed that there’ll be other players who can do that too it’s just that nobody is suggesting any.

 

I think he would be a good signing and would give a dimension we don't have. Yes there are plenty of good players out there but the ones who can score and assist tend to be at a premium. I also agree that if he stays in this div, it will be North Wales.

 

Why do we think any free agent will end up in N Wales. They won’t walk this division contrary to what some want to believe.

He was voted players player of the season at Crewe and they are the ones who should know. However there is no real evidence that we are in for him. It’s all rumour until that register is signed

 

Crewes manager has announced Agyei has signed elsewhere and should be announced shortly.

 

He’d be perfect for us.

Good shout as another option. Only issue might be that he only plays off the left whereas Agyei can play either side or through the middle.

 

The Crewe managers wording makes me think Agyei is staying in L2. Usually to appease fanbases, if a player turns them down to move up the pyramid, they quickly add that into their speech with a "we couldn't complete with the higher division interest" or "he just wanted to play in L1", something along those lines usually comes out the bosses mouth.

Guessing he gets announced somewhere today? Another forum I look at believes Agyei is an MK Dons target after Grigg leaving to Chesterfield and Mo Eisa is expected to go to L1.

 

I think he'll be going to Burton , they were linked with him at the same time as city .
