Ethan Chislett (AFC Wimbledon)
Rico Richards (released by West Brom)
Noah Chilvers (Colchester United)

Look like a bunch of names out of a hat, but Chislett in particular hasn't yet signed new terms at Wimbledon despite being offered the deal a month ago. Nothing unusual in that (see: Gilliead), but looks like Bolton and Wycombe are interested, even if Portsmouth supposedly dropped out.

Just an article that serves as a reminder that we could still steal a wanted player away from a club.

 

Chislett was excellent in both games against us. I wonder if Hodges signed him for Wimbledon or if they were both there at the same time at least.

Glyn Hodges believes that he has unearthed another gem from non league by snapping up 21-year-old midfielder Ethan Chislett.

 

Interesting. I’d definitely take him, it might be tough to get him to move up north and to stay in league two though.
I wonder if that article is informed or just an opinion.

 

Ben Heneghan is another one Hodges signed for AFC Wimbledon, just been released by Wednesday.

Has to recover from an injury, but is proven League One quality.

 

Yep, far too good for league two if we’re looking for a CB and can keep him fit like we have done so far with Stubbs.

 

Alex Pattison has probably already been mentioned but he has to be one that we’re looking at too given his profile and Middlesbrough connections.

I'd feel better if he'd scored at a bigger club than Harrogate, but you can't sniff at 18 league goals in 2 seasons.

Might be another Matty Daly, but there's room for someone to come in and do a job for sure.
