29 years takes us back to 1987/ 88 - the good times. He needs to man up and realise we are better off now than at most points before then.

 

While in the meantime on the field it goes from bad to worse, for much of last season no keeper or defenders, this season no forwards, a 'development squad' which loses 7-2 to Harrogate, but we'll have the nicest ground in league two in 2019-20

I stopped watching City when John Doherty was manager. My decision and I wouldn't expect disrespect for that. A person is entitled to do what he/she wants with their time.

I stopped watching City for years. A combination of shite football and the negative atmosphere at VP pushed me away.

I'm not there now as I love time with one of my best friends, my 19 year old son.

However, I want to enjoy my social time (and this does not require BCFC winning every week) . Would I walk away again, a possibility.

 

Whilst I fully agree that if for whatever reason people don’t want to attend football matches it’s completely their business it is only sport after all. However I could not imagine not going. Yes I want to watch a winning side but I also know that only a few sides can be successful every season and I want to support the club who ever is the current owner or manager or set of players. I think moments like the final whistle at wolves atnd the elation we get with our rare promotions outweigh anything fans who take success for granted with their big clubs enjoy. In my case it really is City till I die

 

I think to fully appreciate those moments like Wolves away and Liverpool at home and Chelsea away, you have to go through some real shite like losing 0-3 at home to Fleetwood and Accrington and 0-4 to Wimbledon.

 

Or the crazy results like that 6-4 defeat to Swansea
