Tried to buy my 6 friends and family reserved seats at once. Can't do that. Timed out again. Farce. I might be able to buy them all one at a time - in another 11 minutes.

I cant believe as a club this scenario was not sorted before the game we get the result and the club put out the details of how you can purchase your usual seat, I do feel for you guys in the Midland Road short straw again.

Why? We haven't had City fans in both ends for years. Its not like the old days when the Bradford end would be full of the more vocal end of our fan base. Stupid, utterly stupid.

Probably the old bill had a say in it probably, they'll stop City fans going down Midland Road like they've been doing recently, say it's easier to contain the away fans in blocks A- E or summat crap like that

There really isn’t RT. I’m looking for the reasoning, I can’t see one benefit in changing existing arrangements. Isn’t it also putting larger numbers of visiting fans at risk on Midland Rd?

I can’t think of one benefit……It’s certainly NOT income as security costs will be extremely costly now?

Especially as the competition rules do not require this to have happened. It's a choice City have made.

Anyone with a brain could see there was an issue with the system. Why would we sell out whole blocks in 10 minutes? It’s common sense.

Grown men crying and calling our CEO the C word because sometimes technology fails and they’re fixing the matter but so many inpatient babies are crying about it. You’ll get your season ticket seat, quit your crying and bombarding the club with phone calls and emails is just silly.

    Grow up

Yes, it's the club's decision. It isn't even increase the club's income at the expense of its fans' inconvenience. The income from the play-offs are simply shared out equally between the four teams!

I suspect this is simply an almighty cockup since there is no rhyme nor reason why the club should rationally make such a change! I hope that the club provides an explanation for this change to everybody

It's not just Midland Road where you can't reserve normal season tickets. It's applying to all the seats in the main stand that normally have access to the suites. I can't reserve my normal seat, nor can the other 7 I sit with.

They may be wanting to sell them off as corporate hospitality. That's what they did with the Arsenal match in the cup run in 2013 apparently.

I think they have abandoned keeping your season ticket places for anyone.

'Until 6.00pm on Wednesday (May 10), those with 2022/23 season tickets will be able to secure their place, by CLICKING HERE, with the club’s usual matchday ticketing pricing structure implemented.'

It doesn't actually say that your place will be your normal season ticket, just that you will be able to get a place.

We are booking tickets in TL Dallas, then if it turns out they have made a cockup of it we will change back to our normal seats.

Have the police been given notification of the away fan arrangement I wonder? Midland Road will be a right laff, what have we done previously? Put barriers and mounted officers down the white lines to keep the City and CT fans apart. Or shut it off completely to home fans and let us access MR seats via Valley Parade and through the stands. Exiting is not worth thinking about. An odd glance at my phone on Sunday evening looking the most likely at the moment for me, or I-follow if I cheer up a bit. As I say, utter disgrace that will not be reciprocated by Carlisle.
