Excellent to see goals from others and not just a reliance on Cooky to win us games. Hopefully this afternoon will have put some belief into the whole squad that everyone is capable of playing a part during the run in - now we just need to see that confidence taken forward into the next game and the next and the one after that etc etc etc.

Also, Chapman on the left rather than the right, loads better. He seemed far more engaged instead of messing about with his socks.

Best performance of the season for me and a 3-1 loss flattered them ........ glad Cook scored last thing we need is him losing confidence ......... let’s just hope the fringe players coming in are about to step up to the plate for the rest of the season if they do then we will go very close to getting out of this awful league ..............Rochdale away another toughie but at least they have to come out and have a go which probably plays right into our hands

I think they got even more luckier with the amount of times we hit the post ....... had they scored I still think we would have comfortably go on to beat them ......... that scoreline flattered them ....... Cook could have easily had 3 goals today .........and Lee Angol thank Fook he ain’t here leading the line

Finally some proper attacking intent, it's not always been there this season, and though it doesn't always equate to more wins, I do think a bit more intent at times would have see us safely in the top three.

Looking at the table following the Easter weekend it makes Saturday's result all the more frustrating, especially when you see Crawley put to the sword today.

I don’t disagree at all. We were well worth the win. But we’ve seen plenty of home games where we’ve been comfortable that have turned on a single moment. If it had gone to 1-1, who knows what would have happened.

Anyway, a good win, and we’re placed in a decent position. Its like a mini tournament now though - we need pedal to the metal and great big sweaty swingers from everyone to get us that top 3 slot.

just a feeling the mentality of the squad had changed over the last month or so

Barrow at home which was truly terrible but since then
Colchester won 2-0 at the death
Hartlepool 2-2 battles are way back into it
Grimsby 3-2 again they battled there way back in to it

now I bet the same 3 games two months ago would have probably resulted in one point

think Hughes has realised that to let us off the shackles and simply go out and beat teams without messing it around at the back for ages without actually doing anything with it

I think Jamie Walker being out for so long probably probably didn’t help our play had he not been out for so long then we probably would have been more or less up

    Vital win.

    Good performance all round.

We win all our games we will be be in the automatic places. It’s a mini competition now but we are no means certs to finish the play offs either.

Massive comeback win for Salford today.

Fantastic team performance, all players put a proper shift in today. Just need this level of consistency through to the end of the season. Can’t complain at Walker for MOM with Banks a close second the kid ran his socks off all afternoon. Onwards to Spotland!!

Well what a fabulous performance today. Should have been at least 6 and they wouldn't have been able to complain at that.

What stood out for me was the way we matched any aggression they had, snapped into tackles, won the ball back and attacked much more quickly by playing the simple out ball to Banksy and Chapman who both arguable had their best games in a city shirt.

We looked like a team that believed in itself and we now have our own destiny firmly in our own hands.

10 games unbeaten, up on the current form chart and firing on all cylinders.

Can see it getting tasty at Rochdale next week so we need to keep our composure and emulate todays performance and we will be another step to auto spots.

Well done Chapman and Banks who were the difference today, superb stuff, great goals, constant threat going forward, linking well with that man Walker, and Cook had chances galore once again.

Cook is so reliable, but he'll only get you one a game most games and you simply must have another player threatening, and today we had several.

    Enjoyable game.

Yeah apparently that's quite a scene now in Bradford. Up there with the midget scene.

    I don't think we'll make it, but I wouldn't say zero chance.

I reckon Stockport get third, but as long as we're mathematically viable, we've half a chance.

We've more chance than Carlisle who have a horrendous run of games so I'd say it is two teams from five. I've said before, we only need to stay within 2/3 points of Northampton and a win against them can take us above them.

    Definitely achievable.
