There is a slight problem with this ‘rumour’.

the pitch isn’t big enough to host SL finals. The only way they can make the pitch longer is to buy houses behind TL Dallas and build over the road. It just won’t happen. There is zero scope to widen the pitch, too.

This is a complete non starter. More chance of Bulls moving in with Park Avenue and redeveloping Horsfall, but it’d be for 10k, not 60k, which Bulls don’t need.

Grand Final works great at Old Trafford as it is, anyway. It’s a great day out.

Absolutely. Bradford Council have proved time & again they cannot organise a piss up in a brewery, we would be no better off and would suffer in the long term

There is very little that can be achieved at the old Bradford end, as previous plans have proved

    It'll never happen anyway - total non-starter

The area struggles with crowds around 20,000, they'll never get permission to make the capacity any bigger for any hypothetical situation. It's a fudged up ground layout due to geographic location but it does what we need as a ground.

The council wanting one big stadium for football and rugby isn't a secret, but they wont spend that's needed to make it happen so there isn't much point in even talking about it. As said above, buying Valley Parade would cost too much and is limited anyway by it's surroundings which again would cost far too much to even get off the ground. It's also in a terrible area of the City with little going for it as a development site with Midland Road being so close and housing, there isn't a chance you can make that stadium big enough to host grand finals or big matches when there's already 50,000+ stadiums in that northern RL belt that can hold a final.

If they were serious about the big stadium, nobody with half a brain cell would consider VP a good spot to build on.

The amount mine and everyone's else's council tax has go up to this coming year I don't want any council money (my money) spending on a privately run business.

The Bulls fans have said time and time again when this comes up that they won't park in the VP area, as they don't consider it safe for parking.

They do not need much parking on their current attendances 3004 for a Yorkshire derby last weekend and that includes the free children's season tickets. One of my employees takes both of his daughters for nothing, one has told him she much prefers football after they got tickets to the Colchester game.

Unbelievably the council spent £600,000 on their levelling up bids which included a ridiculous proposal for 50 million on Odsal stadium. The usual artists impression of a covered super dome were in the T&A. The bids were turned down by the government so another waste of money from our council.

£600,000 . that's nothing mate. Probably 1% of what Ms Hincliffe and her hanger on's have wasted since she became council leader. She is the most gormless looking person i have ever seen and her actions have proved she acts how she looks.

That’s down to three things , a stadium, atmosphere from a big crowd, a less stop start game?

The only way this could be accomodated is to turn the pitch 90 degrees, pull down Midland Road and extend the pitch out on stilts over the embankment. As that is not physically possible, it wont happen.

Was told by a friend of mine who worked in planning at city hall that was one of the original plans after the fire. The idea was to dig into the land between manningham lane and the main stand. Never approved for some reason.

Seen surveyors and photographers around Richard Dunn grounds a few times recently. Something going on up there.

They are doing test holes to check what is underneath, with a view to possible future development.
Could be a complete waste of time ,if the listing stays on Richard Dunn's, but it could also reveal that you can not build on that part of the land.
It is where the south Bradford park and ride was meant to be going.
