    McLean had one good season in the EFL - 2007-8, when he scored 29 goals

    Apart from that, he was average at best

    Two seasons at Posh he scored 46 goals, maybe an even better example was Tony Adcock, but the point with regards my reply was previous goal scoring means nothing when you move to a different club.

    Man Utd apparently looking to loan out a 19 year old forward. Not sure how good he is but perhaps time for MH to really utilise these so called connections, especially if Cook is on his way

    What a blow that would be. The one completely resounding success story of the season. He's too good for League 2 tbf. I'd want 7 figures though.

    I'm not sure it was anything to do with the recruitment team. I think this one was all down to Hughes who knew him from Southampton.

    So you don't know how good this 19 year old lad is, but think Hughes should be targeting him as Cook's replacement, based on nothing more than the fact that he is on Man U's books and Hughes used to play for them decades ago?

    Lewis did an interview where he said it was Gent who scouted him playing against Newcastle U23s and put his name forward to Hughes when he got the job
