Good move for both parties if true, a team challenging for a top 7 place good experience for the kid because looking at the situation so far he isn't getting a game for us.

 

To be fair, I was shite at football and never got in the school team, even though we played a proper supervised game on the all weather pitch every lunchtime, and I was always stuck at RB by "Pop" Allan who ran the lunch time footy club. (Though to be fair to him, I'll give him credit for my interest in the American Civil War)

Derbyshire likely to be Cooks replacement when we move him on, MG seems to have a dream team of Derbyshire and Costelloe up front as his first choice when both fit

 

Pretty certain O'shaugnessy is a youth loan so doesn't count.

 

Youth loans still count towards our quota, we're allowed 6 at one time so currently we are maxed out. However, O'Shaugnessy was on trial at Ipswich over the last week or so but it sounds like they won't be offering him anything but looks like Wolves are looking to shop him, so he may well leave soon.

Looks like we want a LB, someone saying on twitter one is close to coming in but it's not Headley. Still think a CM is needed but we must be close to being maxed on the budget soon?

 

I might be wrong but I think you can have up to 8 loans but can only include 5 in the match day squad.

 

He also hinted at departures. Something about some players needing games or something. Can't remember the exact wording but definitely sounded like a couple leaving.

 

I thought they changed it a season or two back to 6 slots? When they altered all this squad list stuff after the covid seasons. I'll have a gander and check. It's still only 5 in a matchday squad for sure.
