Outstanding till Cook left his mark .

 

Are we? Foulds is fine but if we're honest could be improved on and Ridehalgh who has been constantly injured and isn't good enough anyway.

 

Id go for him myself and drop him off at VP. Car is charged and ready to go!. I thought he was fantastic against us. His instinct was go forward, Foulds is go backwards.

No we ain’t if we want to progress Park. Let’s have a bit of honesty. Cover doesn’t equate to this lads quality!

 

I think we can do better than Foulds, not convinced by him.

But it's not an essential upgrade, the defence is held together by Romoney, so as long as he plays, everyone gets a boost.

 

It'll be similar if the Thierry Nevers rumours are true. But again, highly rated by his parent club.

 

Colchester spending again signing Exeter captain Matt Jay for a fee. From the looks of it, he hasn't made that step up to L1 and struggled to even start, but should still do a job at this level. Surprised it's with Colchester though.

 

Looks like he may be staying at Town: "Headley is an aggressive attacking full-back and will now have the chance to catch Mark Fotheringham's eye in training. First-choice left-back Yuta Nakayama has been ruled out for the rest of the season, with Josh Ruffels starting all nine Championship games in that role since the Japanese international picked up an Achilles injury in early November".

 

Sounds like if he does get let out, any decision will come last minute.

Unless he plays, of course.

Like anything in this league if it’s a lengthy contract most players will jump for it, location will help if he is from round there too.

Do we think there is any interest in kabongo tismanga from chesterfield as he is now in the last year of his contract, I think a less than reliable source linked him with us just as he was getting bk to full fitness

 

Can't see it. Signed a three year deal in 2021 so would command whatever Chesterfield feels he's worth. Something we ain't paying. Better spending the money on wages

 

I read a comment on twitter by a relatively informed media type person who said that he's got pace but whether he can have the impact in goals and assists will be the challenge. The composed assist at Newport/Harrogate was a good effort though so I think we'll just have to see how he goes if he signs.
