Going by the two videos, I know it’s not the whole picture , but looks to be a like for like replacement for Vernam. Pace, a bit of trickery , can shoot. If MH can give him the freedom and confidence to play it could mean Vernam won’t be missed. Going by what has been said , City have known CV has been going to Lincoln for a while and this sees his position covered.

Extremely good signing for League 2. One of my favourite players to wear the Salop shirt in recent years. I don’t know what happened to him at Burton last season, but he was phenomenal for us!! The majority of our fanbase wanted us to re-sign him this summer but he had a big falling out with Steve Cotterill towards the end of his loan spell with us so unfortunately he was never going to return.

Definitely got your hands on an exciting player. Given the chance, he won’t hesitate to run at defenders and he’ll shoot on sight at any given opportunity which can be frustrating at times, but is fairly accurate and scored a couple of screamers for us (notable one away at Swindon). You’ll love him up at Valley Parade. HMS Bradford full sail ahead?

 

Watching the few clips posted on here he definitely seems to be a direct replacement for CV. Seems the recruitment drive is still on track.

 

What side does he play on?

 

Very good signing and exactly the calibre of player needed to replace Vernam. Hopefully a few more on this level to follow.

 

Looks better than CV - CV has some skills and we will miss him but always looked at bit apprehensive. Cant think of a better way to describe it. New lad looks confident and a scrapper from some of the vids. Looking forward to see him bring some of that spirit to city.

 

Having watched 3 clips of him on You Tube I confirdently declare we have signed the Monkey-Hanger Messi

 

Based on what I've read and the few clips I've seen, HC looks a promising signing. Time will tell of course but one I'll be looking forward to seeing perform in the claret and amber.

Can't say I know anything about him but didn't know anything about Vernham other than a clip of him scoring a worldie for Grimsby either. Very encouraged by his experience and looking forward to seeing the lad in a very smart looking new City shirt

 

Did an opposition scouting report on Burton last season. Only seen him once but my snippet is below for what it’s worth:


The most creative player for Burton and the one looking to make things happen.
Chapman is right footed and played as the most advanced midfielder in the first half, often up alongside Jebbison. He played wide (both sides) second half and looked much more effective, particularly on the left. Here he would run at players with the ball and cut inside, looking to shoot with his right foot. Very busy off the ball and leads the press for Burton, not allowing opposition players time on the ball.

 

Seen a lot of this lad for Rovers and I'd say he's definitely better than Vernam, great signing.

Interesting reading. Lives in Hartlepool. Hasn't shaved much off his travelling time, and if he's blaming that for underperforming then I am slightly worried.

Nonetheless, let's see what he delivers.
