As i said, i try to be open minded when it comes to football. Just because we are Bradford city with almost 13000 season ticket holders in league two, does not mean we have a divine right to win games. the fans though, do have a right to be entertained for the money they pay. Not this constant dross the current manager serves up.

CEO appoints manager, rubber stamped by owner. They hire and fire that's their responsibility.Sell up and move out for the good of Bradford City.
Under their joint leadership we are going nowhere that's blatantly obvious.

Not sure you are on the wind up or you firmly believe your posts
Either way your obsession with Mr Adams CV ain't healthy
Do you think Mr Sparks took into consideration why he left the club's he got promoted
He was single vision in appointing him for one reason and one reason only he boasted he could run small clubs on the cheap
Would you employ anyone who showed no loyalty to the club who backed him to get promotion, who had a record of abusing customers calling them yobs for voicing concerns about their clubs, alienating staff and players, sadly lacking in personality which permeates through the players onto the pitch etc etc
I firmly believe Mr Sparks didn't even scratch the surface to be fair
Successful managers go on to bigger and better things am not seeing that on his CV
As per your comments about him being the best thing sliced bread at Plymouth you obviously haven't done your research thoroughly enough
Try looking up the Accrington game at the end of his last season there's plenty more on the Plymouth local papers website
Your loyalty to club and manager in this instance is admirable but sadly misplaced

If Derek Adams' CV is so important, why do Rupp and Sparks CV's not matter? ;)

But you can use the hindsight argument for any manager. Edwards at FGR, his only role previous as a permanent manager was at Telford. Now with hindsight in mind why would they employ a coach with no record of success? Now look at where they are and understand that a previous track record means nothing.

Maybe so but the vast majority of managers are selected on their track record

nonsense managers at this level and every level are appointed because of their name and their track record. Perhaps the magic roundabout wouldn’t apply so much if they weren’t

How do these "name" managers build up their reputation/ track record or are they born with them

I agree the manager whoever he is needs time to build a team but Adams has had the summer and the January window to start "building a team" to date I don't see any evidence of any "building". What we have at the moment is a team of loanees and soon to be out of contract players no foundations laid yet as far as I can see, do we trust him to do any better in the summer?

I have to agree. Imagine in a time to come, you have potential names in Johnson, Flynn, Wellens against Sam Ricketts, Luke Garrard, Pete Wild.

Good grief, even Evans gets a mention by some.

How similar the sentiment is over at Reading, this is from their protest yesterday...

"“We want to get the club back to how it should be run. We’ve had years of this owner and it’s getting worse. The communication is getting worse, everyone can see through it. It’s not coming from the owner; it’s coming from the communications officer and it’s not good enough. They’ve had time after time to put it right and they still try and throw money at fans to try and cover it. This isn’t how a club should be run. It’s a rudderless ship. You want to see direction someone, but we’ve got direction from nowhere. We’re only going in one direction right now. There’s got to be some realisation from the hierarchy of the magnitude of the problems because if we go down to League One it will be catastrophic for the club."

Someone let them know they have no divine right to do well and they should be happy they aren't Bury. Their successful years in the higher divisions are outnumbered by 50 years outside of the Football League between 1871 - 1920 so they shouldn't really be complaining and are in fact very spoilt by their recent success! Their older folk need to set the young ones in line and temper expectation, maybe remind them that in 1878 they had to watch from a wooden shack as Caversham United hammered them 7-0...but they never stopped clapping and they won't stop now

My point is he has no first team managerial experience yet he's having a good season. You don't need a track record
