I think you are getting confused. The money held in a bank or fund is underwritten but not the value of the money. Bitcoin is a currency its risk comes from its value. The pound is the same, nobody protected the value of my pound against the dollar when brexit happened did they?

Bitcoin can be stolen in a hack or a robbery if your coins are held on a removable storage device. This is not protected and so is a risk, but the trading in bitcoin or ethereum is no different to FOREX.

The risk the investors have on their income is no different to any owner. Its there yes, but its manageable and certainly not going to see some major collapse. No I told you so moments will occur. Its the tech itself which underpins its usefulness and its not going to go anywhere soon. In fact its almost more secure than FIAT itself as it cannot be duplicated like pound notes can.

The thick as mince Bradford public would much rather us continue to languish in the Toilet division under the ownership of someone who’s only here as he feels a sense of obligation.

 

Why did they publicise before it was ratified that is one reason why it was rejected

They didn't announce the club involved, left people to work that out on their own. But you seem happy to let Rupp continue driving us into the ground, so enjoy the trip

 

Right so now the matter is closed it’s up to Rupp to invest and get this club back to at least Championship level.
If he bullshits us again with false promises then I’m done and he’ll lose a season ticket holder of 40 years as I won’t continue to watch this crap that’s offered year in year out.

Reading that seems to totally contradicts what Rupp has said.

"A deal in principle was agreed"-so Rupp WAS considering selling the club?

If feck all is spent in January, it pains me to say this, but the club can kiss my ST goodbye for next season and I doubt I will be alone in that sentiment.

Think we all know which way that will go mate, January will be the same as always like bloody Groundhog Day, soundbites here and there about all the improvements we've made, praise about the fantastic school pitch we share and another Lee Angol type signing just because. We'll be extremely lucky to avoid a relegation scrap looking at this squad and how it's performing

 

Never in a million years did WAGMI just submit a bid out of the blue. That’s not how any corporate acquisition works, and I know because its a field I work in. It takes weeks, even months of discussion, discovery and negotiaton.

Stefan Rupp is killing this club, he needs chasing out of town. And the fact this has played out publicly, will make the atmosphere at VP toxic as we continue to toil and wonder what might have been.

 

Failure to invest big in January and there really needs to be protests on the pitch to get this $€#%% out of our club.

 

As much as it pains me to say I’m getting close to this sort of thinking as well.

 

It will be interesting to see where they go in terms of other clubs and how their current owners react. One things for sure, if January doesn't bring the required investment, Valley Parade is going to be as toxic as it was under Bowyer.

 

If Mr Rupp is so uninterested, here was the perfect opportunity to get out, unless the offer was way below his valuation or as myself somewhat sceptical of American's involved in football.
Things are far from right on the playing side at the present time, as they have been throughout the clubs history, bar the odd brief bright period.
Mr Adams has his work cut out this January, i do not like his style but the club and fans have to back him. 6 months and 1 transfer window , is not enough to turn around this oil tanker.
We all want the same for Bradford City and we need to stick togethor and all pull in the same direction.
We may not achieve anything this season, but we need to see big signs of improvment in the second half to give us all a bit of hope for the future.

 

Should at least protest against Rupp (which I wouldn't be surprised would happen if this continues and he doesn't heavily invest) before you decide not to buy a season ticket. Can't really blame the manager or players with the tools they have been given to do the job.

 

Be interesting at the next home game against Bowyers Salford as I doubt Boxing Day will go ahead.
