    Look in truth I said it for years and years. Rhodes was utter shite!! Shite!

    I like we are going for what we really want in terms of a manager and getting some commercial deals done. It's difficult to praise too much because Rhodes was shite.

    In truth Parkinson dug both Rhodes and lawn out of a hole more than once. At least Rupp seems to want to modernise the club, albeit through his choice of ceo

    On the pitch.

    For all the signings, all the positivity and all the rest that has gone this pre season, it means nothing until we stop the regression on the pitch.

    Each of the last 5 seasons we have regressed. It's the same each pre season, with optimism (last season was pure stupidity) but we end up going further backwards.

    Talk is cheap. This club needs to address this regression.

    Can I ask the mods why I've had a post deleted with the reason "nothing to do with the transfer thread"?

    The reason I ask is because there's probably another 70% of posts in here that are also nothing to do with the original thread and probably 50% of the entire forum.

    Could be a busy job this being a mod lark if that's your actual rule set. Especially when I start reporting every post that breaks the rule :eyes:

    Yours was one of many including several relating to a civil war general which had nothing at all to do with City let alone Transfer rumours. Your own post referred to the US General posts and that the joke was past its sell by date, a view I agree with. Yours was therefore part of that clean up. If that's still a problem, have a read of the Etiquette rules threads.
