Not even a question for me. Live and breathe City every day, who I invest time, money and far too much emotion into.
England is a bit on the side that generally disappoints for me.

 

Easy, City

 

Bradford City every second of the day but its a silly question.

Both is the answer as one is International football and the other club football.

 

Has to be City, when we do well it’s like a close family member doing well. With England it’s great when they do well, but it’s the whole country that celebrates while with City it’s more personal.

I have seen City promoted a few times never seen England win a major champioinship.
Would do the whole country good.

 

Iam city through and through, have been for over 50 years . Talking to my lad about this and he said , dad its a no brainer and i was thinking City , but he said England. He reasoned how often does the national team get a chance to win anything, where as City get the opportunity every season. Both usually dissapoint though. Its an eye opener when you realise your son has more logic and sense than you.
So my answer is city, no england, no city, why can in not have both, just for once.
As a side note , he is just as crazy about City as me.

Agreed. If you are English and love football then why wouldnt you want your national team to do well. The national team has galvanised the country which we need during these difficult times. Done us proud.

The Ops question was pretty simple. Which team means the most you? I've cried tears of enjoyment, emotion and downright disappointment with City. I will never have that sort of attachment with the National side.

City every time - but my interest, and that of football in general, wanes with every passing season.

 

I’m with you on that tbh, I’m hoping it’s just due to Covid as I don’t particularly enjoy watching football on a screen. Bit I can’t say I got excited at City last season and am struggling to get to excited with England unlike some who throw their drinks about all over when England score against a bunch of farmers.

I’m hoping it’s just a lack of connection over not being there. With England I don’t watch friendlies or qualifiers and I used to be football mad, loved the teams under Sven growing up even though they always disappointed but feel no connection with this lot. They’re more bothered about Instagram followers and playing computer games while pocketing over 100k per week.
