    We will only bring another centre back in if we loan out sikora or staunton for me, foulds can cover centre back and left back, FCD can cover centre back and right back

    Agree we've got cover but we went downhill went canavan got injured last season. Think defo need another experienced ch. Maybe send sikora out on loan to get some game time as prob 4th choice at min

    What's hard to pronounce about "ride" and "halg"? It's the spelling people will have a problem with, the topic title being a case in point!

    Edit - I see someone says it's pronounced "Ridehalsh".... who knows?!?!

    Felt like at one point I was the only person on this forum who didn't think he was destined for the Premier League!

    First season he was very poor, always out of position, second season he looked good, third season mediocre - he was generally good as the last man, put in some cracking goal-saving tackles, but wasn't much for stopping crosses coming in to the box.

    Not sure why everyone is excited about this? Hopefully he'll be solid enough but let's not forget that he was Tranmeres back up left back and they were happy to move him on.

    He may well come in and be superb, I've no idea as I've not really seen him play but I'm worried that we're picking him up as first choice (presumably) just as he's lost his spot at a rival.

    Exactly. Last season, Ridehalgh wasn't a a guaranteed member of the Tranmere squad and even when he was named in the squad, it was often as a bench warmer. In the second half of the season, he only played 3 times for the full 90 mins.

    I really hope Adams has spotted something in him to warrant him being a first pick which went unnoticed at Tranmere. We'll know soon enough

    The spelling issue is going to be worse than Morecambe. Along with Threlkeld. I can tell it is going to drive me nuts.

    he has been there a long time and played a lot of matches for them and most fans of theirs think highly of him. So we shall see

    Looks like the same manager that benched him let automatic promotion slip, got the sack and then Ridehalsh was brought back in for play offs.
    Most of tranmere fans praise him.
