Summer 2021 Transfers

All the incomings need to be good enough to be starters and better than what we had last season if we want to bridge such a big gap to automatic promotion.

 

It makes me giggle compared to the frantic days of the 60-70’s waiting for the t&a or the Sports.

 

Like a pint of Webster’s bitter, sat on the bar, everyone thinks is someone else’s, four hours later ..it’s still there, flat as a fart.

This could be true.

But if I was a forward even at Div 2 level I looking at them names the night be the game and I am thinking I scoring tomorrow.

Very very true…those innocent days.

I remember as a kid having a big City scrap book . I used to cut out the stamp sized player photographs out of the above and get them autographed . I once got Stanley Matthews’signature climbing out of a cream Rolls Royce when the car park behind the old stand was just coal cinders.

I think the cutting the budget story is overstated, Donaldson, AOC and Wood would have been pushing £10k a week between them, add in Pritchard, Novak, Clarke and Ismail who didn’t contribute a lot and I’d imagine you can spend a lot less and replace with better or equal.

 

I don’t disagree but a budget cut is a budget cut, just a shame the previous higher budgets have been completely wasted by those at the club over the passed 3 years.

 

He should have just said that he liked the black one more than the brown one.

Keep it simple rather than confusing it with names and all that nonsense.
