New Manager - Welcome Derek Adams

I am sure he did on the day they were sacked. However today Adams has said that he would like T&S to remain at the club so we shall see what happens next.

 

Something was mentioned regarding their future in the 40 min interview with Sparks . Can’t recall what, but it’s on there if someone wants to watch it again. Don’t shout all at once !!

 

He actually did say that he could see Mark as the next managers assistant. But you really wouldn't know though as you say you never listen to Mr Soundbite's interviews etc. Or do you in secret, but don't tell anyone?

 

Adam’s has my full support, looks like a great fit here to me.

I loved the bit where he said he did our retained list back in December last year when he was interviewed.

Haha. Nice way of getting around that difficult question... He made "suggestions" on what he would do if he got the job... He didn't get the job for whatever reason but big balls Sparks ran with it anyway.

 

I know where you’re coming from with that. I stayed on it but blocked loads of Richard-Heads.

Great interview with Adams in T&A this morning.

He clearly wants to create a Us v the rest of the world mentality and doesn't mind who he upsets along the way to success.

He comes across a bit like Parky with a meaner streak, indeed he praises what Parky did for us

Cannot wait for him to get started and hopefully we are all allowed back at Valley Parade to welcome him in August

 

Absolutely buzzing got the man I wanted loved all his interviews talks well, had only one concern was mentioned left Morecambe as job done told to get in league one. Keeps saying his job here is promotion to League one but signed 3 year deal. So if we do go up is he staying and tackling league one with us or is that is sole goal get to league one. Would of felt better him saying mission to get us in championship and have three years to do it.

There will be many Bantams out there this morning no doubt with an optimistic outlook towards the new season now our new manager is in place.
I'm no different he's had no ties with the club and appears to have an edge in his approach, seldom displayed by others who have been in the Valley Parade hot seat.
Huge believer in his own abilities with a winning mentality what more can we ask for.
Fine margins between success and failure of course but for now I'm more than happy to be swept along by the new brush.

He took Morecombe as far as he could - as far as most could. He was there 4 years. We are a far better prospect for Championship football.
