perhaps, its really hard to compare like for like. In the championship i'd expect 20-23,000 regardless of price clubs can get big just doesnt happen overnight. and conversely clubs can get small. just take a look at sunderland 4 years in L1 now.

Why should we? There is no loyalty from clubs to managers or players and they reciprocate. The common factor is money.

Perhaps there is a lesson that we can all learn in how balanced the posters on the Morecambe forum are. They certainly put us to shame with our constant bickering and carping about all things BCFC. Very dignified.

Real shame he wouldn’t stay on and build on his success. He’s been brilliant for the club and achieved such a huge amount in such a short time. No one could begrudge him wanting to move on to bigger things. Hopefully his reason for going to Bradford is the potential in the club rather than the salary.

However, no one person is bigger than a football club. The club statement is a positive one and if we can find one outstanding manager we can find another. The problem is player recruitment as we’ve only got two contracted players and one optioned. Again though Derek showed what’s possible by recruiting a squad quickly at the start of the season. There’s a lot of goodwill out there and we’ll get decent loan players and there will be plenty of hungry players looking to develop themselves.

Can’t do anything else other than be positive.
