    Maybe done the full interview process, and get a few other candidates lined up? But then again, we've done it with transfer targets, so why not do it with managers? I'm pretty sure if they don't get Adams, then they'll all bugger off on holiday and hold some last minute "manager recruitment open day" the weekend before the season kicks off.
