New Manager - Welcome Derek Adams

These reasons are why i don't think its Adams. He honestly would be a great appointment but lots of things are not quite adding up at the moment.

Managerial appointment shrouded in secrecy.
How come if it's Adams why have Morecambe not commented?

 

You’re absolutely right time is precious right now, I’m a real believer that if you get your work done early and your pre season done well you can’t go wrong. This is a huge gamble and I think a bad mistake going in for Adams. I found Sparks quite arrogant the other night and almost like it’s all going to his head, he’s talking a big game but I’m yet to see any positives. Why play your cards close to your chest just tell us who you’re going for, season ticket sales go on sale in a couple of weeks I have a right to know what’s going on.

 

Sure a few months back we was accusing the club of lacking ambition and not acting like a big club! Well does this not show ambition and having a big club mentality. we’re getting a manager who’s succeeded in every job he’s done. He took morecambe to the brink of automatic promotion on the smallest budget in the league! For once why don’t we give some credit to sparks for going out and getting the man he wanted! And all this talk of what if morecambe get promoted am sorry but managing a club like us or morecambe even in a league above, there’s no comparison! Get behind the club and give sparks some credit everyone makes bad decisions but least he’s had the balls to correct it

 

If it were Wellens, surely it'd have been announced today?

But if it doesn’t come off we are absolutely f**ked.

 

Because with Morecambe at a very important stage of the season they probably want nothing to distract people from the job in hand.
If it is Adams Sparks is doing exactly the right thing as a courtesy to Morecambe football club

 

Maybe there's a delay with his backroom staff? Are any of them still at Swindon? I know I'm clutching here but I really want it to be him.

Adams & morecambe will know exactly what’s happening as does sparks there’s no way he’s getting rid of Trueman etc without know the deals going ahead, I posted about this happening last Friday I suspect there maybe have been a lot of chat over a few bottles of red after the game last Saturday !

 

I'm afraid social media platforms have scuppered that notion, speculation won't have gone unnoticed in the Morecambe camp.
Someone started plastering Adams linked with Bradford job all over the net.

I hope it’s the ex Barnsley German in all honesty. But again , can’t see it.

 

Unfortunate but it’s not up to City to respond and it’s a matter of judgment for Morecambe so we are going to have to be patient. However I did think it was Wellens before but the fact that it hasn’t been firmly denied by anybody probably means it’s Adams

No you don’t, you have no right to any information. It’s a private business. If you don’t like it don’t buy a season ticket.. That’s life, but to say you have a “ right” is frankly tosh!

 

Depends on your standards. I wouldn't use the Sun for the most basic of cleaning up jobs.
