Fair enough, I don't know anything about Scales.

Looks the kind of young player that could play a full season and I'd still have no idea.

 

I'll be honest, I'm getting worried. They came in and did a great job of establishing a more solid and pragmatic framework. A bit of a new manager bounce too, most probably and we won games mainly by fine margins. But we look a poorly coached side right now.

I think that's a bit unfair. For me the squad isn't balanced well. We don't have enough proper central midfielders. Whatever formation we play we end up with Watt and Sutton in the middle and no options other than Scales or FCD possibly.

What they should be doing is switching formations really.

Watt has has a poor game with his passing and in this formation if he has a poor passing game then we play poorly, that's what today has shown

Another bad day at the office. We were just slightly better than last week but only just.
This result and performance must now have put to bed all the hype around the play-offs.
Our conservative approach is now starting to feel like Bowyer football. Too many times we stop and look for a square ball or go backwards when it would be easier to drive forward.
We as fans may stomach it this season given the start we had but the honeymoon period is over for T&S. Next season, with fans in the stadiums, performances like this won't be tolerated for long.

I'm not calling for their heads by any means. But the honeymoon period is over, they're fair game for critique. I'm just saying that our performances are consistently underwhelming. Our manner of playing style is a concern to me.

Forget the play offs

 

Terrible again. Not easy once the fine margins start going against you. Can I ask where the plan B is? I’ll be honest I said on here in our good run I don’t want them permanent until after the season to see how we progress and I stand by it. This is very much like Bowyer make no mistake. We won under Bowyer and he was hounded out of the club, probably these are lucky there’s no crowds because it’s so dull to watch I just don’t enjoy watching my club play.
