The fact both teams are even considering the prospect of promotion right now given where we were 2 months ago is quite amazing.

Like you indicate, there is a long way to go and many tough games ahead. However, we are sniffing about now and you guys have firmly muscled your way into it. I suspect an exciting 2 months ahead!

 

Why would I take you up on that bet when I want it to happen?

Could we play Rowe in Verhams place? Vernham has misfired for a few games now, but with the pitch at Cardiff he could be a real asset. We need Rowe on the pitch somehow because he attracts defenders, which in turn makes space for others

Worryingly I agree with around 10% of them!
However one things for sure, this site would be 100% duller without you.
Anyone who puts you on ignore obviously doesn’t have the intellectual minerals to take you or your midgets on!

When I first started reading posts on this forum there was one individual who used to get my back up: take a bow @Fordy117
But then I realised he relishes the 'bad boy' tag. He loves making crass statements that get people's backs up.
And once I twigged this I then was able to actually see that occasionally our Fordy does have some intelligent and worhwhile points to make.
But he loves the role of pantomime villian and this forum would be a duller place without him.

 

You said we wouldn't finish top 7. I said we would.. Simple to follow.

 

Just hope we avoid the play offs against each other so one or both promoted and the other up in playoffs.
A few comments about our spending and Bolton going down the same route again , we for a decade at least we have been mismanaged in recent years run by a crook. As good as it is to see the improvement on the pitch the biggest thing is that we now have brilliant owners a mix of real Bolton fans and good sensible business people who understand what a football club means to the community.
